8 TIME WINNER of the SUPER SERVICE AWARD THROUGH ANGIE'S LIST. Maxim Roofing Company is a fully-insured, locally-owned residential and commercial roofing company. Current owners have a combined 35 years experience in the roofing industry. We are a CertainTeed Shingle Master company. For commercial work and flat roofing, we are licensed to install Firestone, Carlisle, Duro-last and Garland. Maxim Roofing is not a storm chaser; travel is limited to within an approximate 60-mile radius of Dayton, Ohio. Old-fashioned, personal attention to detail is vitally important to us, and you will be assisted by our friendly, helpful staff every step of the way. All employees are trained in their field of expertise, and are locally-hired Daytonians. We are members of the Miami Valley Better Business Bureau, the Kettering-Moraine-Oakwood and Beavercreek Chambers of Commerce. We look forward to answering any questions that you may have.

I had a full tear off and replacement of roof on my three-story, 107-year-old home. It was exhausting to me, so I can only imagine what a hard job it was for the workers. A team of about 10 men did the job in four days. It was estimated to take three days, but they discovered there were four layers of roofing up top, not the three layers they expected. Also it was mid-November so the available daylight was less than in another season. The team did a good job and cleaned up afterwards. My one recommendation for anyone having roofing done is to clear everything around the base of your house and on your porches. I didn't have a lot of warning about when they would start work so I hadn't rolled up my porch rug and it got very dirty. My cedar fence was also damaged by discarded shingles. The company told me at estimate that they would need to tear off the original cedar shakes roofing, but I didn't realize what that entailed. I ended up with a horrible mess in my attic closets. I contacted Kevin S. at Maxim. He was very apologetic and sent two men out to clean up the mess. It was a nasty job. I am very grateful Maxim listened to my complaint and made it right.

Excellent experience! The representative who worked with us, Steve, was professional and thorough but very down to earth. I appreciated that he didn't try to use a bunch of high-pressure sales tactics but just did the inspection, provided the estimate, and quickly answered any questions. Maxim provided the best overall offer compared to the other estimates I received. The work was scheduled in a timely manner. Everything except the gutters was completed in one day (pretty good considering the shorter daylight in October). And the gutters were finished up about a week later, which was fine as the old gutters were working, just dented up from the storm. Maxim's work crew took care to remove and cover up plants and other things around the perimeter of the house. Everything was kept clean and orderly during the tear-off and then replacement phases of the work. After they were done, the property was completely cleaned up, magnets run for nails, etc. as expected. I didn't notice any unsafe conditions. They applied dimensional shingles and corresponding gutters and trim - it all looks really great. Maxim completed all of the elements of the contract and did high quality work. It's been about 2 months now and all is well. The two ladies in the office that I spoke with to make my payments - Marilyn and sorry I forget the other's name - were both very nice and got everything processed correctly.

I chose Maxim because of their excellent reviews but they only did half the job. The cupola was removed but the nail pops are all still visible. After they sent the crew out again to fix the nail pops, I was told "it would likely take a few days for the heat the flatten out the shingles". The shingles are still noticeable and every week other roofing companies are coming to offer to repair the "nail pops". I contacted the company for a final time and emailed the pictures of the unfinished work but there was not a response.

The roofers were very competent and quick. There was a short delay in the process due to rain but the entire roof was protected so no issues with water. The cleanup was great. I found one or two nails after they left. Very happy with Maxim.

Roofing maintenance was completed even though the roof was steeper that the roofer was expecting or the deal specified. He was professional and demonstrated reliability, something I highly value. As a result, I also hired them for an additional small repair job and was pleased with those results as well. I have now found a dependable, professional roofer who I will continue to use in the future.

Maxim roofing company was extremely professional yet easy to deal with. The estimates were clear and complete. The most important aspect is that they stood behind their work 100% . Last fall we had a complete tearoff including installation of new decking, but very soon realized our home had serious ventilation problems! Maxim went above and beyond to help us determine what needed corrected and then stood behind their product and workmanship. We are convinced Maxim is the best roofing company around and we highly recommend them to anyone considering their services. A+++

Roof inspection performed very thoroughly and minor repairs accomplished within price of roof inspection. Inspection also discovered that cause for shingles buckling next to fireplace was that the flashing and plywood around base of chimney needed to replaced and re-shingled. In addition also needed some repair where second story met fist story to properly drain. Was provided a very competitive estimate for the repairs in very timely manner. Also all workers were very professional, polite and timely. They also showed me what they were doing and damage found, was really fortunate to have had the inspection and getting the repairs accomplished, before any leaking occurred. Repairs were all done very well, and areas re singled are hard to spot as they did such good work in matching new with existing shingles. Very satisfied with services performed.

Big deal was purchased. It was good. I heard from there a day or so after purchased and set a date. It was good. There was no worries. I did not have to call them. They were right on top of it. The original date, there was snow. They called and suggested that we wait until it was clear. We did it a day or so later. There was no other cost over the big deal.

I had one spot on my roof where I had a leaking problem. They came out, inspected my roof, found the small spot where water was getting inside and fixed it, AND cleaned out my gutters! It was 100% worth the price and I will gladly recommend them!

The worker was great and did a wonderful job. He advised a vent needed replaced so it would not leak and that the office would call...was expecting the call and the replacement (not counting parts) for free since it was a $175 call and all they had to do was replace one shingle. The worker was great, but no follow-up and price way too high to replace a single shingle when I was expecting a new vent installed as well for that price. The worker was great, friendly, no problems at all with him, just the cost and follow-up from the office and company.
