The workers were very pleasant and prompt. The work was completed in one day but began to rain when it came time to pay. I was unable to inspect the finished work at this time. The next day I noticed 9 boards that were already split. The space between the boards was well more than I had requested, which provided little or no privacy, and the boards were all splintered at the top where they had been cut. It was obvious to me that the materials that were used were way below what should have been used in order to save them money and a larger profit for them. I contacted Mr. Hall with my observations and disappointment with the finished project. He came the next day to inspect the work himself. He agreed to completely redo the fence at no additional charge. The material used the second time around was obviously of a higher quality resulting in no split or splintered boards. I am not sure why the higher quality was not used from the beginning but I do appreciate Mr. Hall's concern for making it right.

I needed to fence my back yard because I have a dog.  I got an estimate from 2 different fencing contractors; Hall's and Buckeye.  I went with Buckeye because their estimate was lower for the entire job. That was a huge mistale.  I spent $7,200 to fence my backyard.  The gates that Buckeye installed never worked as they should.  They were difficult to open and to close.  On top of that, my dog
was able to escape through the gates, because of a huge gap inbetween the gate and the fence.  Within a couple weeks I had to weave an insightly rope through my brand new fence to contain my dog.  It was really frustrating because I had just shelled out 7,200 hard earned dollars.  I had a warranty and called Buckeye Fence numerous times and could not get an answer over the phone.  Finally, I contacted Hall's and they came to see the fence the same day and gaveme an estimate.  I had to have my fence posts reset and new gates.  They did a superior job and I am extremely satified with the work done.  I know this is a review of Hall's and I recommend them wholeheartedly, but wanted to let folks know that Buckeye Fence botched the job, took the money, and ran.  If you are considering investing in a fence, choose Hall's and you will be satisfied.

Received an estimate late August 2011 for services described in this report at an estimated cost of $375, materials and labor.  I hired them the same day I received their estimate, since I had already received estimates from other companies, and Hall's was $100 cheaper than others.  

Job was successfully completed on 9 Sep 11.  They did a great job, left no messes, and the gates are functioning properly.  

Only minor complaint I have is that they did not provide sufficient advance notice as to when the job was to be completed.  The work was performed at a rental property, and I wanted to be present when the work was performed, mainly so I could pay them at that time, which is what I thought was expected.  They sent me an E-mail a couple of hours before the work was performed, but I didn't check my E-mail that morning, so didn't know until renters called me that the work had been completed.  However, as it turned out, the owner, Shelby Hall, didn't seem worried about being paid the day the work was performed, as he knew this was a rental property.  When I contacted Mr. Hall after the work was performed, he stated we could get together the following week so I could make payment.  Instead, I mailed him a check several days after the job was completed.    

Hall's installed a privacy fence on this property about 15 years ago (I lived there at the time) and did an excellent job back then.  The privacy fence (around the back yard) still looks good and I have no complaints about that job.  

I will hire this company again in the future and will recommend them to others.

We feel they did an excellent job checking in with us regarding weather and yard conditions prior to instaling the fence. We ordered it very early in the spring, and due to the rainy spring that we had and a difficult low spot in our yard, it made it tough to get started.  Materials were delivered early amd Shelby was very responsive whenever we had a question. We felt he was always on top of the situation. He stopped out several times personally to check conditions.  The fence installed looks great and we're glad (and our dog is happy) that we finally had it added.  We had one other quote to compare and chose Hall's Fence because of his attention/questions towards our needs. I contacted Mr Hall of Hall's fencing for an estimate. He came out the next day and measured my lawn. Original price with privacy fence was too high, so I called him about a week later and asked for an estimate on a picket fence instead. Brought the price down, bringing it into our price range. Due to rain and weather, the whole thing took about 2 weeks. He regularly updated me as to the weather forcast and when they could get started/finished. He sent out 2 very polite men to do the work, set the posts in cement and assemble the fence itself. He estimated 2 days, one to set posts and one for the fence. They took a total of 3, with the first day seeing if they could dig in my overly wet lawn and getting 5 poles set. The prefer to use a machine to dig, so they waited until my lawn was less soggy to finish digging and setting the holes. They assembled the fence on site, no pre-made. I am completely satisfied with the finished work. It looks beautiful and is very secure.

Hall's fence service gave us a fair estimate and installed the fence in a timely, professional manner. We live out of state and Shelby sent us multiple photos of the work when completed without being asked! Also, his price was well below other bids we received. I would use Hall's again!

After the wind storm of Sept 14 (the remnants of Ike), we had several sections of a wood privacy fence blown down. We were referred to Hall's company by a neighbor who had recently had a new fence installed. Mr Hall came the next day to give an estimate. We considered other options and agreed to have him do the work. He was prompt in starting and finished in one day.. The owner of the company worked with his employee He even looked around the rest of the fence and found a few places that needed additional support and made those repairs at no cost.

The owner came to our house and gave us a very reasonable estimate. It was much lower than other estimates we had. The company installed the fence within two weeks. They did a great job.

Hall's delivered exactly what they promised they would. They did a great job cleaning up their mess when they were done. We got an estimate before the job and they charged me what the estimate was.

WE DID SOME PRICING AND FOUND THEY WERE IN THE MID RANGE. MY FENCE LOOKS BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE'S AROUND HERE. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF FLAWS, BUT THEY CAME BACK AND FIXED THEM FREE OF CHARGE. WE'VE ACTUALLY RECOMMENDED THEM TO PEOPLE.
