It took forever for him to get back to me and come to the house and take the measurements but once the work was done, it was wonderful. He quoted the job for $50 but it turned out closer to $200, but that's okay because it's beautiful. He came out, measured, and left; I didn't interact with him much. The other companies I tried are out of business so I hired R & K because they were the only ones still around.

This company was excellent to deal with. I had found them in the phone book and decided to call them since they were in my city. Rick was very helpful. First I sent a photo of the fireplace so we could discuss the type of work I needed. Then he came out and told me that this custom work is something he could easily do. It had been very hard to find someone to do this custom sheet metal work and I was so happy to find R&K and that they did such a great job overall.
