highly recommend global glass block! I hired a different company originally and they were a no-show after I took the day off of work to wait..after a Google search I found global. I called for an estimate they came out the same day to do the estimate and called me the next day with the price. I agreed and said let’s schedule.. they were booked out over seven weeks and I said that’s fine and waited.. The owner called me on Wednesday to confirm everything for today and then called again this morning to let me know the crew would be out within a half hour.. they showed up on time they put down tarps to keep everything clean and cleaned all of their mess up when they finished they were very friendly and professional.. The windows look amazing and I’m extremely happy from start to finish quoting the job to scheduling to installation and cleanup everything is perfect. Highly recommend this company!

The installation team arrived promptly at 9am to begin work.  The installation team had the old window out and surface prepared within a the first half hour.  When the second truck arrived with the glass block panels the group installed the window.  There was a bit of a challenge with the vertical angle of the wall and one of the panels fell out on to soft dirt while being shimmed into place.  These guys are excellent bricklayers, and not only can you not tell where the vertical joints are between the panels, you cannot tell where they had to reset the rows as well.  Long story short, they did a terrific job, the window looks like one unit and the side of the garage looks great.  The total time for the job, arrival to departure was 2 hours.  The installation crew was professional and cleaned up the area leaving nothing behind.  The Ice pattern allows for the security and privacy we wanted AND allows a significant amount of daylight into the garage.  I will use Global Glass Block on my next glass block project.

We're a no show, wasted my time. This is an unreliable company.

I secured three estimates and selected Global Glass Block.  Tony provided the initial estimate and did a great job of explaining the process.  Tony was also able to accommodate the time frame that I wanted to have the project completed. They secured the permit from the city prior to starting the job. Mike and Matt were my installers and they worked very efficiently. They answered my questions and were patient as well as professional.  Mike and Matt work well together and are great representatives for the  company.  They cleaned up after the job and completed the process in about 4 hours from start to finish.  They also explained that the initial time that was quoted for the job was when they arrived at the shop and they had to pull the permit from the City.  They kept me posted regarding their arrival. The area is much brighter with the natural light and is totally transformed.  I would definitely work with them again.

Tony explained the process and indicated they were operating approximately a week out. I acquired three estimates and chose this company because they could complete the job within the time frame that was needed,the positive reviews on Angie's List and their bid was competitive. Matt and Mike were the installers.  They were very professional and efficient. They installed 9 windows in my basement. They completed the project in approximately 3.5 hours. Mike was very patient and answered all of my questions regarding the installation process.  The glass block transformed the space. I would definitely use the company again and recommend them to others.

It went great! The crew was fantastic. They were thorough and got the job done well and quickly. When I found a place that needed a little more work, they came back out promptly and fixed it right up. Their customer service was fabulous and I am happy to recommend them.

My experience with Global Glass Block went very good. I was impressed. They showed up on time and they were very quick and cleaned up after themselves very well.

Two men were sent to my house to remove eight (8) very old windows and outer windows from my basement and replace them with glass block windows.  The majority of the windows were close to my neighbors house (I had cleared with her for the men to park in her driveway), so they parked the truck there.  One started in the basement and one worked on the outside.  They took the old windows out and installed the new windows.  The men were very professional and very polite.  The clean up was awesome and the old windows were hauled away.  They also cleaned up my neighbors driveway. The windows look very good, a very good investment.  My neighbors have remarked how wonderful the windows look.
My mother is looking to replace her old windows and we are going to use Global Glass Block in the future.

I'm happy with them because they were prompt, on time, and they did a good job in a reasonable amount of time. Their finish product looks really good.

Crew arrived on time ready to begin work. They worked diligently and efficiently despite adverse weather conditions. When the installation was complete, they invited me to inspect and ask any questions. Overall a great experience for a great price and I highly recommend them.

Overall everything went well

I was trying to decide on which company to hire for glass block windows. I called Global Glass and the gentleman was very short on the phone. I asked him for an estimate and he took my address and said he would try to stop by (didn't give me a time frame) and leave the quote at the house. We never received a quote so I went w/ the other company.

I am pretty happy with the outcome. They were good.

They were terrific. The quality was perfect and they were very prompt. They were less expensive by $100 than the other companies.

I didn?t go with them, but they were great. The person who came out gave me all the information but did not explain things in detail. They were not on time, but they did call, which I really appreciated. Their estimated price was $350. I went with another company because the guy took much more time with me and explained everything in detail. Moreover, they were a little lower in their estimate. I would consider using Global Glass Block again in the future.

The experience was excellent from start to finish. My husband and I spoke with a representative at the home show and explained that we only had one basement window to replace. At a previous year's home show another company had promised us a quote then sent us a letter saying they were too busy to come out. They never contacted us again. Our guess was that they weren't interested in doing only one window. In contrast, Global Glass Block called us only days later to set up a free estimate, arrived on time and the following week replaced our window. They were friendly, honored their estimate, and cleaned up the work area before leaving. The new block window looks great! I've already highly recommended them to friends.

I called Global to replace 1 glass block in a glass block window. A day or two before the schedule installation date, Global called to reschedule the appointment, due to cold temperatures. I had specifically scheduled the installation on a date when I would be home from work, but I obliged and reschedule to have them come out the following Saturday morning. On Friday afternoon, Global called again to reschedule due to the cold weather. Because it was winter time and business was slow, Global was not willing to reschedule for another Saturday appointment (not sure why, since they had previously agreed to come out on a Saturday). They also were not willing to schedule evening appointments. I was told that either we could schedule something between 930 am and 330 pm on a weekday, or wait until the spring (for a Saturday appt) to have the block installed. While I wouldnt typically have a problem with waiting to reschedule (though I think offering installations only 930am-330pm on weekdays is absurdly inconvenient), I think that after cancelling twice, it would have been good business practice to make an exception and come do the installation on an evening, early morning, or weekend.
