John and his crew were effecient and proffesional. My driveway has multiple elevation changes so 2 drains needed to be installed to manage rainfall. The drains along with well pitched surfaces work very well even with heavy downpours. I,m super happy with the results.

John and his crew were all very professional and did a great job on our new concrete driveway. It can be very difficult to get people in the trades to even return a phone call. This was NOT the case with Cemex. John was extremely responsive, gave me a fair and detailed quote quickly and came to do the work when he said he would come. The work was even completed ahead of schedule. I recommend Cemex highly and would hire them again.

John and his crew were amazing! They arrived each morning on time and worked efficiently all day, removing asphalt and the original concrete drive underneath. All prep work was done the same day and concrete was poured the following day. All of his crew were courteous and professional. The cleanup each day was excellent. John was very responsive to my email inquiries. We highly recommend Cemex Construction!

Excellent work. Took care of all permits, inspections. Clear on scope of work, scheduling, etc. Driveway slopes are pitched perfectly for proper drainage (observed during a downpour the week after the job was finished). I expect this driveway to last the rest of my life.

Project went extremely well. Completed in two days and they were very careful not to damage anything.

I hired Cemex because I had used him in the past and he has done great work. I still got 3 bids because I wanted to make sure his price was still competitive, which it was. Project went very well. I was under a bit of a time crunch so that I could move into my house, and John was able to accommodate my deadline. They poured a large stamped patio first. John was patient with me in choosing the right patterns and colors and it came out great. The driveway is big and the drainage was a little complex, but John was able to get me a couple of options on how to slope the driveway, and I hard a hard time visualizing it, but i'm glad i listened to his recommendation. Once he poured it, and i saw the finished product, it made a lot of sense. Overall the job went well, they got it done quickly and on schedule. His crew has been together for years, and they all worked well together.

This was the lowest of 3 estimates we got, and it was the only one that didn't include unwanted extras. John answered all our questions in advance. The crew arrived promptly on the date we agreed on and completed the work in one day as promised. Everything was cleaned up before they left, and the new driveway looks great.

John was great to deal with.  He worked with me on pricing and offered various suggestions. He was courteous and his crew did a great job.  He even moved a boulder from our front yard to the back for me.  We are very happy with the results and will use John and CEMEX again in the future.

The worker came to my home on time introduced there self and comment to the job at hand.
My husband has a Brain Disease similar to Alzheimer's,and can be a lot to deal with.He is always in
the way and talk a lot. The men treated him with respect ,and did not appeared to be broder with his behavior.
They seem to had done an excellent job in a reasonable amount time.
  I don't know what it take to pour a driveway, but to have people during the job who take pride in there work
And show respect to there clients, matter to me, and that is what I saw in John and his crew

John was prompt to meet with me to review my wishes and prompt with his detailed estimate. John and his crew arrived early each day and worked full days to get the job done. Communication was very good and timely.  The work was performed in a professional manner. I have a signed contract to have them replace my driveway and patio, next year, and I highly recommend this company.

John was very responsive from the start, being the first one of 4 contractors that I contacted to provide a quote.  I had a few questions which he answered thoroughly.  I selected CEMEX because of the quick response, the detailed and fair quote, and the positive reviews on Angie's List.  He provided an estimate of when the project could start and then showed up on time to start the project.

The emex crew was very professional and did a great job.  On several occasions my wife left the house carrying items while the driveway was being prepped, and one of his workers offered to carry the items to my wife's car which was parked down the street.  You don't get this type of service very often.

I am very pleased with the quality of the work and have received a number of compliments from my neighbors.  I would not hesitate to recommend John and his team.  Great job, on time, on budget, courteous and experienced crew.  I could not have asked for more!

I am very pleased!  They came by to survey the drive and informed me they might have a cancellation - and if so could do my drive later that week while I was out of town.  I came home to a new drive that looks great.  The yard is pristine - so they cleaned up after themselves beautifully.

They were willing to accept suggestions and work with me on the design of a large and somewhat complex job.

It went well. 
I wish I had known there was a possibility that there might be a problem digging because of the gas lines, that way, in 2013 when I had a new driveway put in, I would have had the waterproofing done first. We did have a conversation about whether there was enough room to dig to do the waterproofing, no mention of the gas lines. Of course my house happen not to be the norm for the gas line location.

The workmanship displayed on the finished product is incredible---the broom finish on the front sidewalk will help prevent falls. The swirl finish in the backyard is more decorative and will add to the appearance of the landscaping when the whole project is complete. This is an example of another fine job by an equally fine local company. To say the least, we are very happy!!

Price quoted was an excellent value for the amount of work that was done.
Responsiveness---John Bruno, owner, responded to my call for a quotation the same day.
Punctuality---Work crew arrived on time on the appropriate date and returned daily until the work was done.
Professionalism---All members of the crew worked very steadily and were very courteous to us. Work site was totally cleaned up before they left the job upon completion. When the waterproofed walls were complete, they were so beautiful that it was a shame they had to cover them up with the gravel!!
We have had this firm do waterproofing work for us in the past and we are pleased to tell you that their high standards have NOT slipped at all. They have to be one of the very best in Northeast Ohio---maybe even in the whole State.

Contacted John Bruno on Thursday morning on behalf of a national company that I am contracted to perform maintenance on their retail locations. He was asked to grind down the front pad to permit the front door to open, and provide a quote to perform permanent repairs when weather permits.

He was very helpful over the phone, and followed up very well prior to his crew's arrival.  All was looking good. His crew showed up two hours prior to the store opening (Good !!) to perform the work. 

Then.......

One error occurred. The slab that was being ground was in front of double glass doors. No preparation was done on the doors (taping off) to prevent the dust created by the grinding from entering the store.

What followed was one miscommunication after another. The situation escalated to a national level, but nobody seemed to communicate this issue to me or John in a manner where immediate correction could take place, resulting in the store closing for the day for cleaning. 

Upon discussing the issue with John the next day, we both agreed that this could have been addressed much quicker had the store let us know directly.  The issue has been resolved and outside "on scene" communication between his staff and the stores, the job itself was done quickly and professionally.  John and I agreed that not all jobs go perfect and we both will take this experience as a learning event...one that will allow both of us to enhance our customer service in the future.
