Linder's Chimney Sweep

Linder's Chimney Sweep did a good job.

Mr. Linder arrived on time and was a sweet older man who has been doing chimney sweeping since the 1980's. We bought a house from Fannie Man that had not been occupied for several years. I was anxious to know if the chimney was in good repair/full of bird nests etc. as we didn't have a home inspection done for that. Mr. Linder was honest with me and inspected our chimney and said it didn't need to be cleaned. He didn't feel comfortable climbing up on our super steep roof. I don't blame him though. The house is on a hill and there really isn't a good place to put a ladder. It's very steep and high (even the Dish Network young guys said it scared them and rescheduled us). He showed me how to operate the double damper that I had never seen before. He cleaned our dryer vent prior to the dryer being delivered to our new home. Since there was no appliance to move and disconnect/re-hook up, he gave me a discount. How nice! He did a good job and showed me all that he got out after he was done.

Mr. Linder came at the appointed time to clean our chimney, even though the roads were icy, but he couldn't get his truck (and equipment) up our driveway because of the ice. He came back again several days later and didn't charge extra for the additional trip. He did an excellent, quick job as far as I can tell. He worked without disrupting our Christmas tree and didn't leave any mess. He was polite and very professional.

Quick, clean, and efficient. We found Mr. Linder and have been very pleased with good service and honest representation about the status of our chimney.
