We are a family owned and operated Appliance and television store with our own, in house service department. Originated in 1946 by Dick Stewart in 1946, Stewart's TV and Appliance has been at the same location in Elyria, Ohio. Owned and operated by some of the 2nd generation members of the Stewart Family, they attribute their loyal customer base to carrying on the legacy of their Dad, Dick Stewart's belief in giving everyone who walks through their door, friendly, personal service. With an in house service department, Stewart's can service your products when you need it. The technicians and sales staff, are experienced and ready to take care of you. With more to offer than the "big box stores", Stewart's has an amazingly wide selection of major appliances and electronics from which to choose. Make your appliance selection from major brands such as, Electrolux, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, Bosch, Fisher & Paykel, Wolf, SubZero and others. Television and audio brands include the latest technology from LG, Samsung, and Sony. Stewart's also has a wide selection of grills and accessories. They carry Weber and Broil King, as well as Kamado Joe Ceramic cooking systems.

When you buy an appliance from Stewart's TV & Appliance, Weber, Whirlpool, and LG. Trying to fix your own appliance? We carry parts for all of these brands also. Call our toll-free number 1-800-589-6532 and ask for our service department. Just make sure you have your make and model or a part number and we can see if it is available., courteous service by factory-trained service technicians. We supply our repair service to our customers within a 25 mile radius. If you purchased here and are out of the 25 mile area, we will back it with prompt, we will refer you to another company for repairs. It was so refreshing to experience excellent customer service. Imagine the customer being treated like a customer in today's world. It was so retro '60's, when a merchant was thankful and worked for your business. I have since told anyone interested in purchasing appliances to definitely shop and consider Stewart's.

The selection was okay. I was surprised that Kitchen Aid didn't offer a better quality under the counter refrigerator/freezer. It makes a loud sound once it was installed. It was actually stated in the Kitchen Aid booklet that it would make a sound so it's not a factory error. They did come out and replace the fan, although it still has a very high ringing sound. Neither Kitchen Aid or Stewarts will take the product back.

They had good selection and brands to choose from. I was pleased with the salesman because they were able to accommodate me and deliver several things at once, but the delivery man nicked the walls when bringing in the items. I was completely happy up until the items were delivered although the quality of the actually appliances was good.

Let's turn back the time when purchases were made at a small family-owned store. That's what it's like to shop at Stewart's in Elyria. Excellent prices and selection. But what Stewart's absolutely excels at is superb customer service, a commodity lacking at big box stores. They addressed my problem swiftly and solved not only my short-term problem, but promised a fix that would address the problem long-term as well.

Frigidaire double wall oven installed in April 2012. First used the self cleaning feature in June 2012. After that the top oven would take forever to get to temperature, and could not hold temperature after reaching it. We had technicians here 4 times over the year to try and fix it. Control panel was replaced twice, and other solutions tried. Finally in April I called again to say it was still not working properly, and the service person on the phone left me a message that I was probably not using a proper tool to measure whether it was holding temperature or not. I insisted that it was not working properly and they sent out another technician who found that the plastic connector to the bottom element of the top oven had burned out badly - probably when I first used the self cleaning feature in June 2012. He replaced it and the oven has worked fine since. So for almost a year I had no heat from the bottom element, and I was told by Stewarts that it was me using the wrong tool to measure, not the oven! The technicians who tried to fix it before were very nice, but I was very unhappy that the service department was putting the problem on me and not the oven! Since then I have heard nothing from Stewarts - no apology for my dealing with this problem for almost a year. Update: I have since received a note of apology from Stewart's with gift cards. Oven still working fine :)

They are very reliable. They take care of servicing, whatever they sell too, so they are reliable. I had a warranty through them for a five year warranty for the refrigerator.

They took the old one out and plugged the new one in they were probably only here about a half hour. They were real good I would recommend them. they have a big showroom and the salesman was nice.

I got the best stove I could get. They are a family owned company and they do their own repair work. They have been in business for a long time. The salesman that sold me the stove explained to me why I shouldn’t get a different stove, and he showed me another one that was last year’s model. He saved me some money that way. He showed me all of the features and it was exactly what I wanted. One reason why I use them is because I'm a widow and I don't have anyone to fix things; they have a good reputation for coming out and doing their own repair work.

It was very hot at the time and my Living room window air conditioner was going bad. I had a casement type and only one other store had the type and size I needed. I decided to buy it here as it was local and I have bought products here before and I was satisfied.The price was reasonable. You can also drop off your old air conditioner with them for disposal. It was a satisfying experience.

We called for a service appointment, and the scheduler was very clear about their prices and policies. They set up an appointment for the next week. The serviceman showed up during the appointed time window, inspected the microwave, and corrected the problem. The door button is working correctly now (we waited a week or so before submitting the report, just in case), and we are happy with the outcome. We appreciate that they do not charge more than their regular hourly rate for a follow-up visit if they need to order parts (in contrast to the larger first-visit fee), but it would be nice to have the option to pre-order possibly needed parts, at our own expense, in case a second visit would be inconvenient to schedule.

Salesman, Scott Haag, was very knowledgeable about each of the brands. He was not a high pressure-type salesman. We had researched with Consumer Report's the energy/repair ratings for each appliance before arriving in the store. Mr. Stewart gave a very fair discount on our total purchase. The appliances were delivered timely. All of the old appliances were hauled away. The installer ran into difficulty installing the microwave over the range (he could not drill through the wall to install the electrical box.) However, that was no fault of his. Thus, we will research Angie's List for a competent electrician to finish the job.
