I contacted them by their website email - to see if they would come to my area for service but never got a response

I ended up scheduling a service call through an independent party.

Everything from my first call to the service man leaving the house was outstanding.  The operator found an extended warranty had been purchased and got me the work for free.  The parts arrived on time. The service man installed the parts, cleanned and check the unit and gave us helpful hints and suggestions.

They were polite and professional. They came out right away and had everything done in 1 day.

The first number from your suggested vendors- Bachman's Home Repair- which was very close, has a disconnected number. The next two recommended vendors (and more) are over 45 minutes from my home. My search for a local plumber was a big fat zero using Angie's List.

I bought my tires at Sears and they offer free tire rotation. While I was there, i had the oil changed. The oil change is just a come-on to sell you other services. If the services are needed I don't mind, but when they try to sell you something that you DON'T NEED, then I resent that. First he tried to sell me fuel injector cleaning and change the transmission fluid, I told him I had that done at the Buick dealer, so I didn't need it. Then I told him I had Sears change my anti-freeeze a year ago and asked if they could check the concentration to make sure it was OK for below zero weather. They checked and told me that it failed the test and needed to be replaced. I know antifreeze can last between 3 to 5 years, so my immediate reaction was that he was trying to sell me something that I didn't need, or worse yet they did a faulty job a year ago, so why would I want to pay them to do it again. I didn't argue with him, I just told him that I was in a hurry and couldn't change it now. The service manager seemed visibly upset that he could not sell me any additional services, but I didn't care. (While I was in the waitng room I noticed they came in to tell every customer that they needed additional work done on their cars. ) I just want to WARN customers that if you go in for a simple oil change or tire rotation, they will probably try to sell you other more expensive services, whether you need them or not.

They are fine. I went there and they put them on. I didn't have to wait long. They were pleasant and the tire crew seemed ok. I don't have any reason to complain. I just go there for new tires. They aren't busy. They are good tires.
