He dug 9 linear feet of soil out of the wall by hand 24 inches deep. He then removed the existing concrete blocks using hand tools and hauled them away. He installed a new concrete footer and installed a new section of wall. Because he did all of the work by hand, we had very little disruption or damage to surrounding lawn or landscaping. He backfilled the area with stone and topped it off with the topsoil that he had removed and cleaned up.
