"We have received this review and are surprised by the allegations made against us. We have been working with the Synagogue since November of 2014 and have never worked with [Member Name Removed]. We have had no interaction with her and question her knowledge of the details as they pertain to this file. We feel she is in no position to make these false and irresponsible statements. Around November 2014 we were called to assist the Synagogue with repairing multiple water damaged areas. We continued working with the members, mainly [Member Name Removed], over the following months and delivered a number of samples to help them make a flooring selection. We were then put on hold while they dealt with the ongoing roof leaks. We followed up 1/22/15 and they had not made any selections and were still getting water in the building. We touched base again on 2/6/15 and they were still getting water and had not had the roof issues addressed. We also delivered additional samples in February to assist in making selections. Another follow up in May of 2015 resulted in the same findings, the roof was still leaking. In August of 2015 they asked for more samples to aid in making a flooring decision. We were not re engaged to assist with the repairs until April,5 2016 and at that time we were asked to focus on the Social room and offices. We began the repairs right away and also had to go back to the insurance company to discuss additional damage that had occurred since our initial inspection. We worked with the members and scheduled around the availability and completed the majority of the work in August. We then moved our focus to the sanctuary and completed everything mid to late October. We completed a final walk through in mid November and completed the punch list. We were made aware of 2 small issues on December 12, 2016 and addressed them right away and received a final certificate of completion on January 17, 2017. There was never a time that we had to hold up the repairs as a result of ordering the wrong product. The quality of the work is above par and can be supported with before and after photos. We truly feel this complaint is a direct result of our attempts to collect the final funds due for these repairs. After exhaustive efforts we were able to collect the final funds on March 7, 2017. We feel that her statement is an assault on our reputation and obviously does not match the dozens of satisfied customer reviews that our company has received."
"Thank you for your review [Member Name Removed]. We appreciate you taking the time to do this."
"We completed the water mitigation for Mr. [Member Name Removed] on 11/12/12. Upon completing the mitigation and drying out the loss we received a signed certificate of completion from Mr. [Member Name Removed] and processed our billing. We were not paid in full and continued to work with Mr. [Member Name Removed]. We made multiple trips to him home to remove additional claimed items and then were asked to hold off on any additional services as he is not ready. This happened on 12/17/12. We have met with Mr. and have spoken with Mr. a number of times since March 2013. Each time we schedule to meet, something comes up on Mr. [Removed Member Name] end. Mr. said has not had the repairs completed and might want us to quote the repairs and that he would pay us, but he had to wait until he sold his house in Florida. Our most recent communication with Mr. [Member Name Removed] was on December 3rd 2014 and he asked us to install new insulation, we again explained that this is part of the repairs and not the mitigation. The mitigation is the only work that we were contracted to complete and this service was completed and is supported by the signed Certificate of Completion. We have not entered into a contract for any of the repairs. We have continued to work with Mr. [Member Name Removed] over the years and have never heard anything about issues with the mitigation."
"Thank you for all of your kind works [Member Name Removed]. We enjoyed working with you."
The process was lengthy due to the amount of work needed in my home. They walked me through the steps and provided estimated time lines for the workers to be in my home. The damage was more extensive than it appeared at first glance. The company was consistent in returning my calls and answered my many questions along the way. We had never had contractors in our home and didn't know what to expect. The process was educational and the staff at Platinum were knowledgeable and professional. I can't imagine trying to coordinate the individuals needed for each speciality area required in our situation.
The engineered wood floor looks amazing and is perfectly level. The brick work on the front our home was exceptional as well. They even located bricks that were a close match and the mason did such a fine job that you can't tell where the new bricks were installed. The dry wallers were efficient and left minimal dust for a job that required a great deal of sanding and repairing. The painters were professional and the lines were clean and crisp, even around the floor to ceiling fire place.
Thank you Platinum Restoration for your follow though on a job that was time consuming and difficult to schedule. We are happy with the final outcome and would recommend Platinum to anyone who is in need of a restoration company.
On January 6, 2010 at about 1 a.m. my wife and I woke up and discovered that our home was on fire. We called the fire department and ran out to see our home in flames.
The next morning, nothing was left and everything was damaged. We met with numerous contractors and we learned the meaning of fire chasers. These contractors sure had some terrific deals for us and some of them offered us bribes if I gave them the contract to rebuild our home. There was one company representative that never approached us with any deals and they never pressured us into signing with them, and that was Platinum?s Mr. Wayne Hudspath. I knew right away that Platinum was the company we were going to work with. After signing with Wayne and Platinum we met with Dave Williamson and many on their crew. We were a little nervous since this was the first time we had ever been through this type of situation. Having your home taken away like this puts you in a very vulnerable position. The Platinum crew started working on our home and that is when I really became acquainted with Dave and Rob. They treated us extremely well. The Platinum crew were the nicest people we had ever met and their professionalism was impeccable. They made sure that our house was built to our satisfaction, while meeting all city codes and in a timely manner.
Platinum representatives were in our home daily and made my wife and I feel very comfortable. I?ll be honest, my wife and I were very skeptical with Platinum since they were representing our insurance company. To our surprise, everything Platinum said was backed up with their actions. We learned how to trust people again. Platinum was always in contact with us on the progress of our home.
Platinum is a company with integrity and empathy. Our home is the most attractive house in the City of Fairview Park thanks to the professionals at Platinum. If anyone finds themselves in this type of situation and would like to discuss our experience with Platinum, I would be happy to share more with you.

I have been an insurance agent for 25 years and have been referring my clients to Platinum Restoration for all the many services they provide. I have always been given very positive feedback regarding the professionalism of the company and the quality of the work that was performed. I will continue to refer Platinum Restoration to my clients, knowing they will be taken care of from start to finish.
I have now experienced the work of Platinum Restoration personally.
I was extremely happy with the procedure from start to finish. Platinum Restoration was very accommodating on the scheduling, they arrived on time with very professional workers, they finished the job in a timely manner and they did a great job cleaning the carpet. I will use them again for my carpet needs and any other household project I may need done. Thank you Platinum Restoration for making this an enjoyable experience.
Even before the crew was there, he started helping me move and dry personal belongings. When Mike and others arrived, they did exactly as Scott had explained. They removed all damaged building material that was impacted and would need replaced. They pulled loose some floor coverings in hopes of saving them, others were clearly beyond saving. Cut back the drywall were needed to get air moving in hopes of not needed to do additional demo. They set up lots air movers and about 6 large dehumidifiers. It took a few days to get all the moisture levels were they wanted them, but someone was out each day to take readings and move equipment around so it was the most effective. My Adjuster was out and also comment on how well the drying was going and how she felt Platinum was doing compared to other jobs she had witnessed by other companies.
I was very impressed with their operations and professionalism. I hope I never need their help again, but if I do, I won?t hesitate to call them!
"[Member Name] is correct that we completed a repair for him about 9 years ago. He had recently contacted us and requested that we inspect his roof to find out where and how water is getting into his house. We sent one of our project managers out to meet with the [Member Name] and to take a look at his home. We did not however have a 40 foot ladder on the truck and were not able to gain access to the roof. We have since left several messages for the sub contractor asking him to go out and take a look at the roof. We will continue to call. We will also provide the [Member Name] with the roofers contact information so that he can also call to prompt a faster response. We are sorry that the [Member Name] feel this way and we have attempted to assist them. We will continue to do so until their problem is addressed. Platinum Restoration"
Salvageable items were 4 boxes, 2 chairs, a table, a file cabinet and 2 bikes. They have sub contracted everything else out.
"[member name removed], All of our pricing is already set through the insurance company as agreed pricing. We apologize that you think that is more than we should be charging. We are a general contractor and we do work with other companies as well as some subs. We do a lot of our work in house, but because or the nature of our business we have to structure it that way. I am sorry that you were not pleased with our service. Certainly if there is anything we can do to make it up to you please let us know. All the Best, The Platinum Restoration Team"
