"Thank you so much for your business! We are thrilled to hear how happy you are with the product and the crew. We will be sure to pass along your kind words to the crew. I also apologize that the salesman did not encourage you to visit our showroom. We have all of the railings on display, and you may have found that to be helpful during the decision making process. Thank you again, and if you have any additional questions or need further assistance please do not hesitate to reach out!"
"Thank you so much for your business, and kind review! If we can be of assistance in the future please do not hesitate to contact us."
"Thank you so much for business and kind review! We also appreciate your patience as you waited for your install! We realize that this time of year can be frustrating for our customers. Our waiting list is definitely long! We are so grateful to your patience and kindness as you waited for your fence! If there is anything you need in the future please let us know. Enjoy your fence :)"

"Thank you very much for your business! We appreciate your patience during the installation process. Spring and summer are our busiest time of the year. We do take our customers in order of sale date as it is the only diplomatic and fair way to handle the order that installs move in. I'm sorry that we were not able to meet your expectations on schedule. It is always tricky when we are dealing with the 4th of July. We do not have our employees working on the 4th, and many (despite it being our busy season) do use their vacation days during holidays. We were a couple of days past when we had told you we were hoping to finish by. It appears you were completed though on July 5th just after the holiday. Thank you again for your patience and understanding as we worked through installing through a holiday."
"We do not have a job under the name of [Member Name Removed]. I am assuming your review is actually for a customer we worked for last year in [Redacted] under the name of [Redacted]. This particular customer has posted this exact same review all over the internet, and this sounds like the exact same story. I assume this is just a repeat. I am sorry that we were not able to rush your job ahead of other work that had waited longer than your job. We do take all the jobs in order by sale date. It is the only fair and diplomatic way of handling everyone that is waiting for their install. The salesman that handled your order is no longer with this company. You are correct, he put the incorrect style of gate on the contract that you had signed. We of course built the gate that you wanted once we realized the salesman had made the error. We additionally built quite a bit of extra and very detailed fencing that was above and beyond what we were contracted to install. We were also very patient as we waited several months to receive payment after all of the work was completed. Thank you for your business, and I'm sorry that you felt the need to review your gate and our work negatively."
"Thank you so much for your business, and kind review! If you need anything in the future please let us know!"
"Thank you Ms. [Member Name Removed] for your review. We have searched our accounting system back for several decades and also our databases. We do not see you listed as a previous customer. I apologize that you felt we were a "C" rating. We would be happy to address the issues, but we cannot confirm that you were customer of ours. Feel free to contact us, and let us know."
"Thank you Ms. [Member Name Removed] for your kind review and your business. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do for you!"
"Thank you Mr. [Member Name Removed] for the kind review and the business!"
"Thank you Mr. [Member Name Removed] for you business in 2013 and 2010. Looks like we did some repair work to the split rail fence in your yard. We appreciate your continued business, and if there is anything you need in the future please let us know."
"Thank you [Member name removed] for your business and kind review! Please let us know if you need any additional work in the future!"
"Thank you Ms. [Member name removed] for your business, and kind review! If you ever need anything in the future, please let us know. Sincerely, Heather Amato Elyria Fence Inc."
From the beginning things went extremely well. We worked with Greg and he answered every question or concern that we had. Shortly after signing the contract we received an email from them explaining every step of the process. They called us every time someone was coming out so that we were not caught off guard. They were patient with us as we had to go out of town during the process. We called and explained things to them and they rearranged their schedule. The end product is exactly what we wanted.
Could not have envisioned a smoother process.
"Thank you so much [Member names removed] for your kind words and business! If you ever need any additional assistance or work, please do not hesitate to contact us! Sincerely, Heather Amato Elyria Fence Inc."
"Thank you so much [member name removed] for the business! We truly appreciate it! Feel free to post photos of your project on Facebook. The crews love to see the pictures and reviews."
"Thank you (Member name removed) for the business, and kind words! I will be sure to pass the compliments onto Ed. He, like most of our installers, has been with us for many, many years. They all love hearing the positive reviews - especially when they're mentioned by name! Thank you again for the business, and please let us know if you need anything in the future!"
"Thank you [removed member name] for your business. I apologize for the inconvenience of dealing with the dirt mounts, and I'm glad to hear they spread out a bit. We do offer to remove the dirt, and generally it's indicated on the contract whether we're to leave the dirt or remove it. That is what the crews work off of during the installation, and I'm sorry that the contract did not indicate to remove the dirt. Thank you again for your business, and if you need anything additional in the future please do not hesitate to contact us."
"Thank you so much for the business. You're right, the winter hit early and lasted forever! We typically are able to work year around, but unfortunately this winter we lost nearly two full months due to weather. We've never seen that in 82 years of being in business, and I hope we never see it again!! I apologize that there was a delay in tending to the repair for you. Believe me - we would have rather been working than sitting inside watching the snow fall and the temperatures drop! Thank you again for your business, and I'm so happy that you're pleased with our work."
"Thank you so much [member name removed] for the business! We sincerely appreciate your kind review of our work. Our company is very proud of all of our carpenters, and it's always nice to be able to pass along the compliments to them. Our company would be nothing if it were not for the skill of our installers. Thank you again for the business, and if we have can be of further service to you please let us know!"
Let me first say that everything that Elyria Fence did they did with quality materials and professionalism. Mike came out right away to do the quote and 2 other times at my request to talk to my neighbors so that he could confirm with them the placement of the fence and get the thumbs up from them. He actually came out again for one of the neighbors who was still not convinced he would like my new fence. This was very important to me because I could tell early on that one neighbor was not pleased at all when he heard I was putting a fence up for my new puppy. Mike completely went above and beyond and was extremely professional. However, please read this carefully and learn from my mistake: I had one tree that I needed to move because if I did not , the fence would be on their property line by 2 inches. The neighbor, putting on a false face apparently said, "What is a couple inches". So Mike, using string, showed my neighbor where the fence would go and he gave it the green light. I don't care what you have to move or do, but even if you seemingly have the nicest neighbor in the world, do not agree to it! The guys came out and I pitched in and helped them trim back some of my hedges to ensure this fence was on our property as much as possible, even though the neighbor agreed to "a couple inches over, no problem". (Neighbor still with eyes like thunder, ready to blow at any moment leering and watching us) The posts went in when I was at work and what did I come home to??? Well, lets just say I was so upset because his wife started berating me about the fence. Never mind I was even closer that agreed on with her husband. I was so stunned, all I could say was I did not appreciate the tone (nor the fact that I went through so much pain keeping them involved with the project just to deal with that attitude and to call Elyria Fence themselves.) So they did. I called Elyria Fence and apologized for the trouble and they did not charge me for having to redo it even though they had the confirmation of the original placement from the neighbor. In fact, I did not have to deal with the neighbor at all from that point.
So, almost a year later, I am still dealing with my neighbor trying to "make a point" by parking in front of our house, pulling into our driveway, throwing branches on our lawn, blowing dirt through our fence, standing on our front lawn, creepily staring at us from his deck over the fence, bad mouthing about us to our neighbors all because of what??? That's right...2 inches in the length of 5 feet of fence that they agreed on. So, I don't care how wonderful your neighbor is, just stay on your property line.
So you can't choose your neighbors, but you can choose who builds your privacy fence, and this is one is just beautiful! We are going to use them again for a trellis. Top workmanship and the best crew around.

Update: Due to the terrible snow storms and ice this winter, we had some shifting of our gate. Elyria Fence came right out and fixed it perfectly. They are a company you can count on to be there even after the job is done. Note in the picture how the gate is perfectly even! Thanks Guys, you're the best!! 2/19/2014
"Thank you so much for the previous business, and positive review! We're thrilled to hear that you're happy with your fence, and we are looking forward to assisting you with your trellis!"
"Thank you Mr. [member name removed] for the business, and taking time to review our work! We look forward to assisting you in the future if the need arises."
I had them back a number of times, I did make a change to the gate and paid additional. The wood is hit or miss. There were warped crosspieces that had to be replaced and knots where some have already fallen out and there is a hole. The design I have came with some pointed sides wacked off in the cutting and still put up. It was a nightmare. If only they spent a bit more time and gave me more suggestions and price options as I didn't know anything about fences or gates.
I have to live with this. The wood is now turning an attractive grey shade and that is good. If anyone is using them, please make sure you check the wood, if you are putting up a wood fence, and do shopping for pricing also. My situation may be unique but it's good to do homework when doing a major job like mine. I feel bad about this as the workers and staff were very polite and came when I found an issue.
