Home inspection was provided, but not much was inspected. Blaine, while personable, was, in our experience, not professional. The feeling that we got when we left the inspection was that so much was missed that we paid for the presence of an inspector, but not an inspection. For reference, this was not the first inspector we'd worked with, nor was this the first residential property we've purchased. This was, however, the first purchase in a new area.
Blaine did fit us into his busy schedule at the last minute, and we were grateful- He started with his tablet computer running through details of his life and why he was doing this; where he came from, etc.
In the living space, he missed several obvious deficiencies - GFCIs near water sources, ungrounded outlets, etc
In the lower level / utility service space - he completely missed the asbestos tape on the ductwork, the peeling paint, uncapped wiring, etc.
He did however, point out a piece of laundry on the floor instead.
We walked away from the deal, not entirely based on his report- but based on what we noticed and saw ourselves.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MR. COCHRAN FOR HOME INSPECTION. HIS SERVICES WERE DONATED TO WOSU FOR AUCTION, WHICH WE THEN PURCHASED FOR $85. THE VALUE WAS SET AT $200. HE WAS VERY COMPREHENSIVE AND SPENT MORE THAN 3 HOURS AT OUR HOME. HE SPENT AS MUCH TIME AS WE NEEDED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS THAT WE HAD. HE IN NO WAY HURRIED THROUGH JUST BECAUSE HE WAS MAKING NO MONEY ON THIS PARTICULAR INSPECTION (HE DONATED 9 INSPECTIONS TO WOSU FOR AUCTION).
