Description of Work: We hired Parks Tree after getting a daily deal through Angie's List. They came and cut out 5 ash trees in our back yard. We were pleased with their service. My only complaint is that we were unclear when they were coming, but it wasn't a major concern because we didn't need the trees cut down by any specific date.

Description of Work: Needed 3 Birch trees trimmed and a couple of larger branches removed, 3 rhodadendrom stumps removed, 6 bushes trimmed/shaped up, 3 bushes planted, (I had purchased these myself and they planted them for me), fair amount of weed removal in the front of the house, placed weed preventer sheets, edging and mulch application, again for the front of the house only. Also needed an application of a fungal spray to a Japanese Maple tree. Called Parks, message left to request an estimate and received a call back within 1-2 hours the same day. Appointment scheduled for the next week, and was told they were scheduling work to be done about 1-2 weeks out. Steve arrived at scheduled time. He was very professional, listened to what I was hoping to accomplish, offered suggestions. There was no high-pressured, sales pitch. Gave me a written quote and stated he would get back with me with a scheduled time for work to be done, which he promptly did. Had emailed the company a couple of times prior to the work being done as I had a couple of questions, and received responses within an hour or two. Work was completed the day we had agreed to. Two workers arrived, again very professional and completed the work within 5-6 hours. Very satisfied with the job, yard looks nice!

Description of Work: Spring cleanup of leaves, etc. from front and back of house. The two young men arrived promptly. We walked around the house and discussed what needed to be done. They set to work immediately and worked steadily, without taking breaks. They cleaned up and bagged the leaves, and put them in their trailer. When finished, they noted they had 15 minutes left and volunteered to weed the area around the foundation plantings--which was more than I'd expected. They did that quickly and thoroughly, said their goodbyes, and left with all the bags (thus sparing the city workers from having to pick them up the following Monday.) All in all, a very good experience, and I would certainly use this company again and recommend it to my friends and acquaintances.

Description of Work: They removed 4 large aborvite trees.

Description of Work: Guys showed up right on time and got to work. Did a great job of trimming and shaping smaller ornamental trees. The big part of the job was elevating and cleaning up a 80 foot white oak. It's a beautiful tree but it's never looked better, after the crew got done. Clean-up was like they were never there. Parks Tree is definetly a keeper.

Description of Work: Parks Services removed a 25 feet pine tree hugging my house and a large bush adjacent to the tree. I bought a $400.00 deal for $199.00. The business owner Justin was easy to work with during his initial visit. He was prompt for this scheduled estimate. The crew showed up in a timely manner and went right to work. They cut the tree down in one fell swoop. Began cutting it up and throwing it in their shredder which they parked on the street. They cleaned the debris up and asked me if I was happy. I was. I would recommend this company for anyone who wants a hassle free experience.

Description of Work: Removal of dead sugar maple tree from front lawn bed. Discounting a few odd small pieces of broken branches, removal was excellent, done in an excellent period of time. Stump was removed about a week later. Again, excellent work, done in very short period of time. Saved $150 with Angie's List coupon. Had very nice conversation with tech who removed the stump. Have already suggested that a friend who needs tree service call Parks Tree. I don't have any more significant trees which need attention, so I may not have reason to use the service, but I will refer others if asked.
