Long story, but we ended up getting six bids. They were the first to show up, and remained the one to beat. He was on time for the estimate, discussed different aspects of the work needed, and provided information up front that others seemed shocked we asked for. One of the other companies said we "couldn't possibly" get a "decent" company to do the work for the amount we were quoted. And nobody that was any good would be able to get to the job in less than a couple of months. Two and a half weeks after signing the contract, the job was done with no surprise costs. Full crew showed up promptly at 8, worked two 12 hour days (with one off in between), and got the job done. They were polite, and as quite as possible for such a loud job. Their clean-up was fantastic. The one very slight, minor complaint - day two started with a light rain. About 4:00 someone called to say they would't be working that day. By then we had kind of figured that out. Calling earlier might have been nice. Then again, we could have discussed in advance what would happen in case of rain. All in all, a pleasure to work with, and a good group of people.

They told me on 9/22/2015 that payment (30% down) was needed to have work scheduled. I sent in the check and they cashed it on 9/28/2015. Despite being told my work was only a week out, the work wasn't performed until 10/26/2015, nearly a month after they received full payment.

They were on time, did a great job and cleaned up. Always pleased with them.

It went perfectly. They did it all in one day just as they promised!

They were very professional, one section had a leak and they realized that there was a leak and he came back out and got it fixed, no extra charge.

I had two problem areas of my roof that were leaking during the year particularly in winter time or during rainstorms. I invited C&C roofing to make an estimate and repair. Carl looked professional and explained why the water was coming inside and assured me that the roof would be fine after repair. Carl and his crew worked on my roof in 2010. Rear roof replacement, flat roof installation, vent installation was done for a half of a day. I was happy with my new roof till next year. Since 2011 my roof leaks even more than before C&C repair ( I had two leaking spots before repair but now I have 4 spots). I invited Carl to check what was wrong with the roof. He came over, took some pictures and said that insulation was a problem. I was surprised why he said nothing about insulation before repair. I invited three other roofing companies to get second opinion. They say the water should not leak inside even insulation is a problem. I have a huge damage inside the structure.

We have used them multiple times in the past to fix our leaky roof. They were punctual, very nice and very professional. But they missed misdiagnosed the problem. I knew that it was hard to diagnose the problem that we had. I wish that they got it right the first time.

Men came, Did a professional job. Very reliable company. Gave estimates and returned phone calls. Promptly send out contracts. Always pleased with their work.

He replaced three shingles with my new shingles. The charge was high. I then had to call them again to replace three more shingles which blew off of the house roof. When that was complete, he informed me that I need to have a complete new roof installed because the last roof replacement was installed incorrectly. I'm going to have another roofer review the issue. I feel that the shingle replacement has been finished, but I'm uncertain that the entire roof needs to be replaced. The charge was about $300.00 each time. He used my materials.

They work really fast. They cleaned up so well our yard was cleaner than it was prior to the job. They were extremely professional. They only took half a day to do the tear off and replacement.

The roof was replaced the chimney re-caped and many boards were replaced on the roof. All finished including the entire clean up in one day. This was wonderful. They did everything they promised. We had to have extra contact because it was December and we had to keep tabs on the weather. It all worked out. Winter was great with a new roof.

They did a great job. They gave a higher quote than another company but I felt the shingles were of better quality. They showed up exactly when they said they would and brought enough help to finish the job in 1 day. Less then 5 minutes after the last shingle was fastened it started to rain (perfect timing). Clean up was not perfect but it was understandable as they were doing the clean up in a downpour, and they naturally were rushing. The best part was that of the 3 quotes that I received, the one from Cand C roofing was the only one that was willing to go the full route of placing an insurance claim to replace the roof. One other company also noticed the damage but felt it was not worth the trouble. After a visit by the insurance adjuster (who was met by the Cand C roofing staff), the roof was covered by insurance.

Overall experience with company was great. They came out quickly to give us estimates on several items to fix around our home. They were very professional. Prices were great for everything but we couldn't afford to get everything done right away so we had to prioritize on urgency of projects. Due to the weather it was a little bit before they could come out and do work. But that is to be expected when you contract exterior work in March/April in Cleveland. They called the day before to let us know they would be coming out and were very professional and friendly. Answered all my questions and let me know what to expect. Crew showed up a right on time. Actually they were even a little early because we live so close to their office. Salesman took the crew around and explained to them what needed to be done. We left for work and when we came home the work was done. The only visual way you knew they had even been there was because there was a tarp over our steps (there was rain in the forecast for the afternoon) . They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. No trash or debris laying around. Which if you could have seen the shape of our grout and the pieces it was in before they even started working, you would realize how impressive that is.

It went better than I could have hoped. I had been trying for weeks to get a contractor to just come and look at the leak in my living room, knowing that I would have to have work done on the roof. Could not even get a return call until the morning a large section of my ceiling collapsed from the weight of accumulated water. I needed a fast, decisive response, and decided since I had had no luck calling Better Business Bureau contractors I would try Angie's List. I signed up easily, looked for a contractor who was close to where I lived, who had an A+ rating, AND who made emergency calls. Cand C Roofing fit the bill, and when I called I spoke directly to the owner, Carl, who heard the panic in my voice and promised to have someone come to look at the roof within 24 hours. He was as good as his word, and the process went smoothly throughout. The only drawback was that Cand C was so busy I had to wait three week for them to have a crew available to do the repairs, but they made sure the roof was covered until they could come, they arranged financing, and they followed through on every promise. My neighbors were so impressed by the speed and quality of the company's work that since I had my roof done, at least three more families on the street and in the immediate area have called on Cand C to handle their roofing needs. We are all thrilled with the company's attitude and workmanship.

Everyone was extremely professional and compitent. The owner arrived for the estimation appointment, even though it was raining and dropped off a folder with all the information I usually ask about: insurance, certifcations, process, etc. He came back on a Sunday to actually go on the roof to estimate the job and gave us a written estimate before he left the house that day. The company was flexible with the contract language and we signed. The owner made a third trip to our home, on a Sunday, with his foreman, to review the job. They said they would do the work the first week of November. I got a call on that Monday, saying they would be at the house on Tuesday. They worked from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and then another full day and the roof was complete. The next day, the gutter workmen came and completed the project. Throughout, they were very careful with our plants and deck and cleaned up completely, even between the two days of work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is considering a new roof.

Contacted C and C roofing for an estimate or tear off and replacement of roof. I had an appointment scheduled for September 28th, 2011 at 9 am. I received a phone asking for a rescheduling of the appointment to October 5th at 9 am. I understand unfortunate events happen causing rescheduling or appointments. I waited and waited but he never showed or called on the 5th. So I called the company in regards to him not showing and the secretary offered his phone number for me to call him. Maybe this is petty but I asked if Carl didn't have my phone number and shouldn't have he called me. She just stated that she knew he was running late...but in my mind I am thinking shouldn't this be her job to call the contractor NOT mine? Petty or not, I never called him, he never called me....so he NEVER showed. Sorry won't be using this company.

They were able to begin the work very soon after giving the estimate. We actually had to ask them to wait while other outside work was completed. Very professional approach from the estimate on. Arrived on time and completed the work promptly. Came back the second day to finish roof cap because they needed more material. Covered plants with plywood and tarps but did step on a few in the process.

It was very easy to work with this company. I found them to be very responsive - they came out quickly after I requested an estimate, provided a detailed estimate as well as a packet of materials including proof of insurance, references, etc. They readily responded to questions that I had along the way. Much communication and invoicing was via e-mail, which I appreciated. Their bid was quite competitive, just slightly below others that I received. I am pleased with their completed work.

They came two days after we called them (after waiting 3 weeks and constantly being put off - without the courtesy of a call by another supplier). Called the morning of the appointment to let us know they would be a bit late. Very professional. Did a nice job

It was fine. We haven’t had the problem occur again yet, so we are hoping that it solved the issue. They gave us an estimate one day, and they were here working at 9am the next day, which I couldn’t believe. They were very punctual, and they took really nice photographs on the roof so I could see exactly what they were fixing. I was quite happy with them.

Great ,very professional, passed inspection, finished in one day, cleaned everything and roof does not leak. Gave very satisfactory warranty. I recommended him to someone else.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied. They had the entire roof tore off and put back on in one long day. The workers were all very courteous and hard working. They really took great measures to protect my yard and landscaping. Carl went over everything with me very thoroughly and explained everything to me precisely. I have used this company several times already. They came back and did my garage and fixed my chimney. I have always been more than satisfied with their work.
