I emailed Torpedo Heat several times about the problems that I was having with a heater that I had purchased used from someone. He emailed back and gave some suggestions on what to do, I explained to him I had seen his you tube videos and was still having problems. I called him and described what was happening with my heater, explained that everything he told me to do worked for the first few cycles of the heater then it started to malfunction again. He explained to me the heater I had was a very old heater and that most of the parts were not available any more. I explained that I had bought parts online from other sources, then he figured out over the phone after I told him what parts I purchased. That the parts were indeed the wrong parts for my heater, they look the same but were not compatible with my heater(I should have him first). Torpedo Heat is a very knowledgeable about these heaters, in my gut I knew he was the right man to fix my heater. He is an honest man and cares about doing right by his customers, anyone who needs to have a heater worked on parts ordered or bought through him he will more than gladly help you out. With that being said, I would not hesitate to call him or have him work on my heater again as he did on 1/21/2018. He got me back up and running with my heater. Clifford was exceptional. His knowledge, experience, and caring was the old fashion way of doing business. He did not just sell parts, but was there to answer any other questions you may have. I had multiple problems with my unit. He diagnosed over the phone, listing what parts were needed along with explicit instructions as to installation. Parts were sent the day of order or the following morning. My cost was 1/2 of what a new heater would be. My unit is an old Sears heater around 35+ years old. My heater hasn't run this good in years! Can't say enough about this gentleman and how he runs his business. He is the best of the best.
