FENDER BENDER TOWING

Our 2003 Saturn vue was ticking do to timming issues we purchased the kits for $375 and took there they told is it would cost $400 for the labor took them 2 days to fix I asked them multiple times if they found anything else wrong they kept telling us everything was good they said it was test driven and all was fine we drove for five miles Car started shaking over heating and had no heat we called them and they said all they did was timing there was nothing else wrong so it's not on them after arguing they came to our hose and said there was a air pocket in our cooling system that they would charge us $100 to fix because they didn't cause it but in the same breath he said that the air pocket could have been caused by putting it up on the lifts but they still won't fix it without charging us. He also said that our engine isn't the original engine that it was a junk hard engine be knows because it has markings but the marks are on the hoses not the engine another machenic told us it's the original and he tried telling us there was bar's stop leak in the radiator which there isn't then he said are rack and pinion is going our because it makes a small wine when we turn but the other shops said that's normal with a electric rack n pinion. We will never go there again we have know the owners since we were small children the owners was not there there son n law refused to give us a number to talk to them and treated us like crap
The quote for the cost also should include tax upfront not sure how much tax is I thought our county tax was .0775 percent which is around thirty dollars but there tax was 43 dollars on 400 which is over 10 percent
