The entire process was excellent and seamless. I was very reluctant to list my house with a Realtor due to the cost, but obviously it was well worth the cost since my home was sold in six days. I really enjoyed working with Val because she constantly kept me updated on the entire process. She updated me via email and text throughout the day. For example, she provided same day feedback on what each potential buyers' thoughts were on our house such as their likes and dislikes. She also provided a detailed outline of what her she would do to sell our house, and she actually followed her plan all the way through and verified that she completed each step with me. Bottom line, Val didn't provide 'lip service' just to obtain the listing. She truly listened to our needs and presented our options in concrete realistic terms. For example, naturally I wanted to list our house $6000 more than what she had proposed. However, based on her comparative market analysis my price would've been way too high and it would still be for sale today. It was hard to let go of what I 'thought' the selling price should be. However, once Val presented me with the data contained in the comparative market analysis, I took her advice and listed it at the lower price. Thus, we sold in six days $1000 below our asking price. Finally, I'll continue to work with Val in the future because of her aggressiveness and market knowledge. If you're looking for a Realtor that will just list your house and sit back and watch, Val Freeman is not for you. However, if you're looking for an agent that is proactive and uses data to make decisions, then you need to consider Val. In my opinion, she is truly one the best.
