TOY BARN

I paid my first visit to the Toy Barn on Saturday afternoon driving from Detroit to Columbus area. I test drove a vehicle and my salesperson Will Danak was very friendly and accommodating. The car was fantastic, however, I had looked at several other cars and I wanted a day or so to make a decision. I contacted my salesperson on Monday and made him a cash offer, which he accepted. I asked if the deal could be done without me having to return to Columbus area and he said yes, they do this all the time. I asked him to send me the information and I would fill it out and send back with the deposit requested. I told him that I could send the paperback that evening with deposit or in the morning. He said he would pull the keys and the morning would be fine. The paperwork did not arrive in the morning, but later that morning he sent me an email saying they sold the vehicle to someone else and basically blamed me for not getting the deposit in sooner even though he is the one who decided we could handle the paperwork in the morning. This was very disappointing and in my opinion unethical. He offered no apologies, just insult to injury. Toy Barn may have some nice toys, but don't waste your time here unless you want to be disappointed also.

I like them a lot.

I took my car to the Toy Barn for service because I had purchased it from them approximately 8 months previously. The service was professional and completed in a timely manner. The cost seemed high to me, but I wrote it off as the cost of a BMW. However, I did have to bring it back in because the computer reminders were not reset and the service lights continued to come back on after I was back home. I will still bring the car back for service, but I may in inclined to shop around for price comparisons.

Don't let all the luxury cars out on display deter you from going to the Toy Barn if you are seeking ANY used car brand.
Greg Mcdevitt has helped us purchase 4 cars from the Toy Barn over the past several years: 1 from their inventory and 3 from auction. We weren't in a hurry to purchase our vehicles so Greg was able to monitor several auctions and after a month or two, found the exact vehicle at the price range we wanted when their current inventory wasn't matching our needs.
The entire staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere there is very low key, no-pressure. The Toy Barn was also a weclomed conduit between Midwest Autogroup on a few service needs.
I recommend The Toy Bar often to friends and they are surprised to know they don't have to be a Ferrari buyer, or a pro athlete to buy their next vehicle from them! Do yourself a favor and at least stop by and experience them for yourself.

Overall, the experience was wonderful. They took care of us from start to finish and look forward to doing business in the future.
