SAWMILL LAWN MOWER REPAIR

Work done as advertised, mower returned in time for first mowing of season-- with a full tank of fresh gas...which was above and beyond advertised service. Will use this vendor again.

Went great. Was ready to scrap 22-year-old mower and buy another. Called Sawmill Lawn Mower Repair on a chance. Barry asked me to leave it in driveway. He came by that day. Tuned up the engine. And the mower has started and worked great ever since. That was over 6 months ago.

Very speedy service. Picked up on Thursday and brought back on Friday!

The repairs went great. The cost was discussed ahead of time and did not go up more than was discussed. The repair took longer than promised. Pick-up and drop-off is part of the normal routine, but I arranged to go pick mine up because I really needed it back. They preferred cash or check. They said they had a way to use credit/debit cards but had never used it before. They knew what they were doing and the repair was done well, but the business side of things was a little lacking.

They did a great job.

Well! And completed in short order.

When the work was completed, he dropped off the equipment at my house. Both pieces of equipment are working like new. Besides the work, the best part of this was the pick-up and drop-off, highly recommend.

VERY fast service. I called Tuesday afternoon and left a voicemail. He called me back Wednesday and picked it up that afternoon. It was finished Thursday afternoon and he delivered it back to my home Friday. The pick-up and drop-off aspect of the service is very convenient, and he guarantees the work for the season. 
He tuned my lawn mower last spring, and I expect to do the same this year.

Very smooth, and quick, response. I was expecting it to take 5-7 days and he turned it around in just 2, which was great since the grass is growing fast this time of year. The fact that he does the pick-up and drop off is fantastic. I moved here from another city where that service would have cost at least 50% more. The amount I paid is comparable to what I paid in my prior city, but I would have needed to do the pick-up and drop-off myself. I was very pleased and will work with him again next year.

I call him and he comes right out and picks it up. He is a very nice man. The price is good.

Barry was great to work with. He was on top of everything and communicated with me frequently. Barry came out and picked up the snowblower on the day we arranged ( a Saturday ) and had it back to me that evening all tuned up and repaired. Just in time for another snow storm. I never dreamed that in the middle of winter and in between snow storms I would get such quick and wonderful service.

I have used this company many times before. Their charges were somewhat higher than I had expected, but they had been very courteous and professional. This time, however, the mower was returned with the blade not tightened. It could have cause injuries. I called the company and they came back to take the mower. It was returned with the blade tightened, but there was no apology. I was told that things like this can happen, particularly when they are busy. I see this, however, as totally unacceptable. It's a safety issue.

After using Sawmill Services for 18 years I have learned to call early, as they get very busy as the lawn mowing season approaches. I called by mid-February, and Barry was able to pick up my mower in about a week and had it serviced and returned to me a little over a week later. Everything went very smoothly this year. He always does quality work and has been very helpful answering questions for me.

Fast Friendly, Professional. I called to get a repair estimate and he was AT MY HOUSE in 10 mins, fixed my mower and gone in less than 30. I don't care if it was just dumb luck, that's impressive.
