Our family of four decided to join this gym. The workout areas and locker rooms are very clean and organized. I absolutely love their group fitness classes. The instructors are friendly and highly motivated. I like that they are open for 24 hrs and have a huge schedule of different fitness classes offered various times a day. Our two kids, age 3 and 5 love the child care area. They have computers with kid friendly/educational games, a place to watch movies, a small gym for playing and a large area with toys to play with. I feel very comfortable leaving them to play while I take a class because the staff and facilities are great.

Up until the time it came to end my membership, I had been happy with Lifetime. I had to make adjustments to the budget and Lifetime was no longer in that budget. I explained that to the sales manager that I had to talk with to cancel the membership. I signed the paperwork and thought I was done. However, I received 4 "follow up" calls to try to talk me into either coming back or going on a maintenance plan. How aggravating!

Lifetime Fitness is the best fitness facility in Columbus. The center is state of the art. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I always feel like a VIP when I go in. I get in a great work out because I don't have to worry about my daughter, because their child care center is a lot of fun for kids.

We are new to Ohio and received a letter in the mail inviting us to try the club for a week. After setting up an appt. by phone, we met with a sales rep at the club. He was very informative, friendly, etc. (We found out later it was only his second day!) My kids and I were very impressed with the entire club. The atmosphere felt more like a resort than a gym. It is so much more than just a place to work out. They have indoor and outdoor pools with incredible slides and an outdoor grill. Towels are provided at the pool as well as inside. They have a rock climbing wall that my kids enjoyed. My husband and kids also enjoy playing basketball on the indoor courts. The staff has been very professional and helpful. The locker rooms are nice, big and clean. (They have a special "box" in the men's and womens' locker rooms that dries your swimsuit in a couple of minutes!) The workout equipment is up-to-date and plentiful. (I've never had to wait on a machine.) Our entire family is motivated to be active and have fun doing it at Lifetime Fitness. I would highly recommend joining!

Overall, I am quite happy. It is a bit pricey, but I USE it (unlike the last place that I belonged). It is CLEAN, the staff are friendly, they have a caf with healthy choices on site, many class offerings are included in the monthly fee. Personal training is available for an extra fee (seems expensive). This facility really caters to families. I have been a member for 6 months. The crowds have INCREASED more than I thought they would after the first of the year. Perhaps in another month that will change. The pool and family locker rooms can get fairly busy on the weekends.

The Fitness Center over-billed us. We didn't discover the over-billing until after I checked my credit card statement. The charge was supposed to be about $150. They charged us over $300. The staff double-billed my wife. Also, she received no receipt when she paid for the camp, so the charges could not be verified at purchase. The over-billing was for $149! My wife called them the next day and demanded a credit on our credit card. We had to make a special trip to the Center to get a credit slip. There was no credit slip, but all they did was tear up the credit card authorization slip for the $149. The charge remains on my credit card until my bank cancels the authorization, which ties up my available credit.

I have been a member here for over 2 months. I'm having fun working out at this brand new fitness facility. The monthly membership fee covers use of the facilities as well as many group fitness programs. Membership is month to month. The Membership Adviser took his time to give me a tour of the facility, explain the programs and discuss fee. I never felt "strong armed" to buy a membership. Enrollment fee was discounted for corporate discount as well as due to my health insurer. Personal training and nutrition coaching are additional, optional expenses and have been well worth it. Rates vary. All the staff are very professional and seem to genuinely have a customer focus. They are open 24 hours a day - extremely convenient. They also have a caf on site and a salon.
