I received a home inspection from James and really had such a great experience and was happy to write a review about it. 1. Prior to the inspection he took the time to explain to me his credentials and experience in the field of home inspection-this allowed me to get to know him and feel comfortable about his knowledge of the field. This really meant a lot to me and really was one of the reasons I chose him to do my inspection because he just made me feel so comfortable and confident in my upcoming inspection. Before the inspection he also sent me a sample report as well as shared with me his company website which included helpful customer testimonials. Also he was very easy to get a hold of and at last minute was able to reschedule my inspection. 2. The day of the inspection he was on time professional and very approachable. He did a very detailed inspection and explained to me everything he was doing and all of his findings-which I really appreciated as a first time home buyer and single woman who does not know much about home repairs. He came very equipped with appropriate tools. James was also very conscious of my time and left no stone unturned during the inspection. He picked on things that were certainly important that I would have never even thought of. 3. After the inspection James wrote up the report very quickly and I received it the same day the inspection was completed. The report was very easy to read, follow and understand with all of his recommendations rated by level of importance. Overall a great experience and service that I would recommend to any home buyer in need of inspection.

James is the best in the business. Don’t call him if you’re a sleazy Realtor looking for an inspector who will turn a blind eye. He not only finds problems but also can explain how serious they are and what it will take to fix. James is my go-to home inspector, and the guy I refer to all my buyers.

Home Inspections LLC was amazing! They were fairly priced, and the only company who was able to work with us on scheduling to get our inspection done within our deadline. The inspector was not only very thorough, but also very kind and patient and answered any questions we had along the way.

We hired James in May 2017 to inspect our now current home. James did a fantastic job and took time to explain things to us. He was very thorough and used a plethora of tools to complete his inspection. He discovered various problems during his inspection which allowed us to go back to the seller and request remedies. We were very pleased with his inspection.

Mr. Jones did an excellent job on my inspection. I did my research to find someone with experience and who would be thorough and was not disappointed. He explained everything I asked about and provided extensive documentation. I was pleased and what I paid was money well-spent.

Very professional and thorough.

He found some areas that were not compliant with building code but noted the building was sound and had good bones. He was thorough although restricted in not being able to access the attic because the closet was full.

Inspection went well. He was very prompt, was on time and knowledgeable. Even took extra calls from me and my realtor after hours. He also checked in 1 week later to see if the requests went through.

James is very thorough and so very courteous. He does an excellent job explaining his findings and suggesting future work that might need to be done.

James was everything you'd want in a home inspector - thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed to genuinely enjoy what he did.   As he was performing the inspection he would stop to give advice on certain things which was very helpful.  The report was incredibly detailed and delivered the same day as the service.   I would definitely recommend James to anyone in need of a home inspection.

James was excellent. He took time to explain things and pointed out important features on the home. He was very prompt and got us he report about 5 hours after completing the inspection. He returned my call at 6 o'clock Oma Friday when I had questions. I highly recommend him.
