They determined problem was in a board inside tv.They took bd & said that they send it out & would return to the in 10 days. Three week was the time for the return & they did not answer my emails and or phone calls for an update during this time frame.

Tech called and said he was on his way. A bit over an hour later a guy showed up in a private car, in shorts and a tee shirt, with a tool kit. He did not introduce himself. Ask about the problem after I had explained it to him before and to the person who made the appointment. The tech mumbled about Samsung TVs, his TV and lots of other semi comprehensible stuff while he poked around with a volt meter. He left with nothing more than my $85 diagnostic fee and a vague promise I would receive an email with a repair estimate. Have received nothing after a week. Seems to be a scam to get the $85.

Daniel Purdy had been to my home before and worked on this TV and although the previous repair was paid mostly by Vizio, this time the TV was not under warranty and I felt comfortable in calling HDTV Repair LLC again. Good experience.

Daniel Purdy with HDTV Repair LLC called and set up a time to come to my home as this was a 55" LCD TV. He arrieved during the scheduled time and replaced both circut boards.

I was having problems with my TV so I called them and they were able to send a technician in just a couple of days. The technician came out, opened my TV, did some testing, and adjusted some things. It works like a charm now. He seemed very knowledgeable and he was very professional.
