 + -1 moreThey determined problem was in a board inside tv.They took bd & said that they send it out & would return to the in 10 days. Three week was the time for the return & they did not answer my emails and or phone calls for an update during this time frame.
Description of Work: A board in the TV needed replaced. They had the board for 3 week. Initially said it would be approx. 10 days.

 + -1 moreTech called and said he was on his way. A bit over an hour later a guy showed up in a private car, in shorts and a tee shirt, with a tool kit. He did not introduce himself. Ask about the problem after I had explained it to him before and to the person who made the appointment. The tech mumbled about Samsung TVs, his TV and lots of other semi comprehensible stuff while he poked around with a volt meter. He left with nothing more than my $85 diagnostic fee and a vague promise I would receive an email with a repair estimate. Have received nothing after a week. Seems to be a scam to get the $85.

Description of Work: They trouble shot my 60 inch Sony HDTV and determined that one of the circuit boards was defective. Since that particular part had to be ordered from California, the time lapse was a bit more than we had anticipated, especially since the first one was not the correct one, and had to be reordered. Once that arrived and was installed, the lamp had to be replaced, resulting in a further delay. Finally, almost three weeks from the first visit, the lamp arrived and was replaced on January 10th. The patience displayed by Daniel, and the professionalism he exhibited, were greatly appreciated, and HDTV Repair saved me the cost of a new HDTV replacement. I highly recommend their services.

 + -1 moreDaniel Purdy with HDTV Repair LLC called and set up a time to come to my home as this was a 55" LCD TV. He arrieved during the scheduled time and replaced both circut boards.
Description of Work: Replaced Main Board and Power Board for a Vizio TV that had just gone out of warrenty and Vizio gave a special price for this service.

 + -1 moreDaniel Purdy had been to my home before and worked on this TV and although the previous repair was paid mostly by Vizio, this time the TV was not under warranty and I felt comfortable in calling HDTV Repair LLC again. Good experience.
Description of Work: Checked out 55" TV that had sound but no picture. Was able to reset and picture came on.

 + -1 moreI was having problems with my TV so I called them and they were able to send a technician in just a couple of days. The technician came out, opened my TV, did some testing, and adjusted some things. It works like a charm now. He seemed very knowledgeable and he was very professional.
