GORDON LENDING CORPORATION

Gordon Lending Broker Fee Contract quoted indicated refinancing fee to Gordon Lending would be 0.5% of loan amount. Later discovered loan fee to Gordon Lending exceeded 1.5% of loan amount. The Broker Fees were over triple the cost we were quoted and the title insurance firm called Southeast Equity Title appears to have almost charged twice a fair/competitive fee. They were selected by Gordon Lending. The truth in lending documents were altered the day of the closing and presented at the closing by the loan officer named Craig Pataky. Mr Pataky when questioned about the revised economic/fee statements lied at the closing about the extent of the fee differences and the upcharge. Gordon Lending also included a waiver document that was intended to preempt our ability to back out of the deal. We believe their business practice to be deceptive as well as a violation of our earlier Broker fee agreement. I am in the process of investigating remedial action.
