GOING GREEN LANDSCAPES & LAWN CARE LTD

Purchased 2 Groupons for this business. Called to schedule - phone number disconnected. Checked website and called 2 additional numbers - all disconnected. Last Facebook update was 12/11. Contacted Groupon and waiting on refund. Apparently they have gone out of business, but just abandoned their website and customers. 

They are very unresponsive, difficult to work with, lack professionlism and hard to get a hold of.  I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. 

Worst experience I've ever had.  The owner would promise multiple crews and days would go by without anyone showing.  We've had the subcontractors show up and tell us they haven't gotten fully paid.  The pavers are very uneven, you catch your shoes on them and trip, water puddles in the corners of areas.  We couldn't get the irrigation system to turn on prior to the sod being installed and the owner failed to have someone come out and fix it, he initially told us it was fixed. We brought in another company and they found that the valves weren't even wired to the brain in our garage, let alone were the heads fixed.  We asked multiple times that our plants to be deer resistant and have founds that 3 of the plants/trees/shrubs we were given are deer favorites by simple google searches.  We've documented with pictures and video along the way and shared these with the owner.  I regret ever using this company.

We had coupons for their grand opening at the Lewis Center location. I gave them the 10% off coupon and the free delivery coupon. They apologized and said that it should have read that they would accept either/or. With mild reluctance, I accepted that and asked for the 25 bags of mulch to be delivered. They ask for a SPECIFIC drop-off location, and I told them in the walkway between our garage and the house. When I came home from work on Friday, April 23, a plat of 24 bags was sitting in the front and corner of the garage which blocked entrance into the garage as well as the back door. I called Joe about the error and he said that he would contact the site since he would be out of town. I called the business location later that night (while still open) but no one answered, so after multiple attempts, I left a message. I called Saturday morning several times and finally talked to someone (Jeff?). He said he would be out that day to move the mulch and deliver the extra bag. No one came on Saturday. I called Jeff on Sunday morning. He acted as if I were calling his personal number (and perhaps I was?) rather than his business number. He said he would deliver the mulch that day and move the other bags. About an hour later, he called and left a message. He could not read the address on the sales form and needed it. I called back, gave him the directions and location. He did come later that afternoon and moved the mulch. Some bags tore open with some spillage in the drive. (I cannot judge the quality of the mulch until it has been down for a while). In a separate incident, I was awakened late Friday night (after midnight). I did not recognize the number in my sleepy state but took the call; no one responded. Four minutes later the party called again. No response. I checked the next day and the phone number was Joe's (owner). I left a message with him to call me at his earliest convenience; I left a message at the business for him to call me (with a clear message that it was not about the mulch). He never returned my call.

We will not use them based on the experience.

To say the least, it was a pleasure working with this company compared to the other landscaping & lawn care companies that we had used in past years. My contact with Going Green had made a lot of promises before they started the work and they delivered above and beyond our expectations and we have hired them for our year round mowing as well. Very professional, clean-cut employees that were there to work hard and only work. We were so surprised to see the amount of work they had completed in the amount of time given. They were very knowledgeable and polite when my family was around and my wife and I were very happy!!!!!
