 + -1 moreThe mortgage prepared for us missed important discounts available to the previous owner but not to us (like senior citizen discount and others). Payment was figured on those discounts. We were not told of this. A year later, Fifth Third came back to us demanding a balloon payment of considerably more than we could come up with and the payment itself was refigured at more than we would have agreed to in the beginning. Our house payment went up almost $100 a month. We refinanced, which helped some, but we were not happy with their explanation or lack of accountability regarding what we felt was their mistake in the beginning.

 + -1 moreTHE MORTGAGE ADVISOR FIFTH THIRD SET ME UP WITH WAS EXCELLENT. HE WAS PATIENT, ALWAYS PLEASANT, EXPLAINED THING IN NON-TECHNICAL TERMS AND VERY FLEXIBLE IN SETTING UP MEETINGS. HE ALSO WAS WILLING TO TALK WITH MY REALTOR AND LAWYER AND BECAUSE OF HIM I ENDED UP WITH A VERY GOOD RATE.

 + -1 moreDOMINIC WAS POLITE AND PROMPT IN ALL OUR DEALINGS. HE PROVIDED ME WITH TIMELY INFORMATION AND ASSISTED WITH THE PAPERWORK NEEDED FOR THE RE-FINANCE. HE HAS TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER LOCATION SINCE I WORKED WITH HIM.
Description of Work: I REFINANCED MY HOUSE INTO A NEW 30-YEAR MORTGAGE AT 2 INTEREST POINTS LOWER THAN THE ORIGINAL MORTGAGE.
