Chris was prompt, courteous, and professional. He repaired the sliding key cover that I had not mentioned as well as 8 keys. He spent so much time that he needed to come back the next day to do the tuning. I could not hope for better service.

We called for a piano tune and asked about having some "stuck" keys taken care of.  Our piano was purchased from a family in our neighborhood and has been unplayable.  Aliquot ended up having to take the entire inside board out of our home for repair.  It took two weeks and some extensive work.  For labor, parts, etc PLUS the tuning which he was very thorough at, I thought the price was great and the service excellent.

I think they are a little expensive, but they do a good job.

I called Aliquot Piano Service on Monday night, and he fit me into the schedule the following morning. Chris was able to fix the broken keys within minutes and then tackled a problem the other piano tuner said was not fixable. He was able to fix that as well. He also evaluated my piano and made notes to refer back to in case I was to call again. He explained some of his concerns with the piano and showed them to me. I would definitely call this company. It was a great experience.

We started using them seven or eight years ago. He is usually pretty much on time.

It went very well from start to finish. The guy was very knowledgeable and he actually fixed the upper registry for me as well. He took the whole keyboard assembly out and made some minor modifications. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. The tuning was $105.00. The total was $180.00, but that's very reasonable considering he spent an hour and a half extra working on the piano. It sounds beautiful today. I would hire him back if I purchased something else.

I will definitely be calling Aliquot Piano Service for all of my family's piano needs! He was professional, punctual, knowledgeable and kind. All four of my young children were home the day our piano was being tuned. It was a crazy household and he was patient, understanding and kind. He spent ALL day working on our piano, which hadn't been tuned in many, many years. It has been moved twice, again without ever being tuned. He worked hard all day and worked around our very hectic schedule. I am more than satisfied. And the price was extremely reasonable for the amount of time he dedicated to the job.

Chris arrived on time. He spent 3.5 hours on a circa 1936 baby grand piano that hadn't been tuned for 6-7 years. Worked non-stop, was willing to explain what he was doing. Told me this is his only business; and not a sideline. He used some type of mechanical device to check his work on each key. Piano tone is good now. He cleaned the soundboard with cloths and a vacuum. One of the bass wires snapped while he was tuning. He spliced it back together - I assume this is standard procedure. I will use him again.

He is on time generally and he calls me to inform if he is late. He does not leave a mess. The first time he came 7 years ago, he had to take the parts of the piano with him to work on, as it was unused for a long time.

On one of his visits my son who plays the piano was in the house and he proceeded to show my son how the piano works. There was an educational factor, free of charge, and I was impressed.

He was very nice and thorough. He even gave me a list of piano teachers that I could contact. He said he would get in touch with me again before the end of the year and he just recently did. He did a good job. He was a pleasure to have in my home.

I called Chris and got an appointment with him within a week. Unfortunately, I totally forgot about the tuning. He stuck around my house for about 20 minutes, but I didn't show up. I felt horrible. He called me that night and was very understanding (even though it was a waste of his time). We rescheduled, again within the week, and this time I made sure not to forget. Chris arrived promptly and was very pleasant (even though I missed our first appointment). We talked a bit about the piano, about his line of work, etc. Then he tuned the piano. He was here about an hour and seemed to do a very thorough job. Later that afternoon, our piano teacher commented that the piano sounded much better.

He was on-time, polite, and very thorough.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE TUNING AND THE PIANO SOUNDS MUCH BETTER. I WAS IMPRESSED TO RECEIVE A LETTER A FEW DAYS LATER WITH DETAILS ABOUT MY PIANO AND SUGGESTIONS FOR THE TUNING SCHEDULE WE SHOULD FOLLOW. HE ALSO OFFERED TO RETURN AT NO COST, IF ANY ISSUE AROSE CONCERNING THE OPERATION OF THE PIANO.
