    1. The problem started late Saturday evening when I notice my water tank was losing pressure and the pump was coming on about every 15 minutes even though we were not using any water.  I checked all inside and outside faucets and lines for leaks and found none.  At that point I assumed that the problem had to be either in the hose between the water tank and the well, or maybe the foot valve.  I lowered the off and on pressure so the pump would not run as often and went to bed.   In the morning I call THE WELL DOCTOR.  He had to finish a task, then went back to his office to locate information on my well.  Then he came and fixed my problem.

They were very good and came out right away. They make sure everything was running right. It was raining badly but they still came and worked on it. They let us know what was going on and how much what is it going to cost. They also let us know what parts they needed, what they could do and they were straightforward. The price is just right and they also called us back several hours on the same day.

Bruce was extremely professional and provided quality, expert service.  In spite of my calling after hours, he drove out, looked at the system and provided his expert opinion that very night.  Next day, he removed the old jet system pump and tank, installed a brand new, better performing well system and I had water that afternoon!  I couldn't be happier with his performance, expediency and professionalism.  He showed me the faulty part and the condition it was in (literally petrified), treated my well and provided instruction for future maintenance.  He turned a (slightly) traumatic situation into a pleasurable experience.  Will definitely be using his services in the future, and would highly recommend to others with well issues.

When he arrived on April 9, 2008, he had another man w/him whom he said he was training. The man brought his dog, which immediately went to my shrubbery and urinated on it. That alone made me wary. Bruce Miller, the company owner, arrived w/a bill in hand, fully prepared to pull my well for an extra charge of $350 already written on the bill but I refused to allow him to do that. He put chlorine pellets in my well. It did nothing to remove the smell. I called him the next day about it and he said that there would be "pockets" of rotten egg smell for a day or two and, if it didn't disappear, to call him back. I asked him why he didn't tell me that in the first place and he had no comment. The rotten egg odor didn't disappear and I did call him back and he said that he would refund my $200. He did not refund my money. I called him again and he said that he would have "the girl in the office" send my check. It never arrived. I called him again and he said that he would have his wife send the check. It never arrived. My son called him twice and he hung up on my son. Another company came and rectified the problem for me for $60. It was not my well water at all but my water heater that was the issue. The service person told me that The Well Doctor isn't even licensed in Stark Co, where I live, to perform his service. Whether or not this is true, I don't know. What I do know is that I'm out $200 for a service that did absolutely nothing and that I was treated rudely, unprofessionally and unethically by Bruce Miller, the company owner.

"It would appear that this person has mistaken us for the other Well Doctor whom is out in her area. We have not heard anything about this customers complaint until today. If this person had our company there, we would have told them that what we do is not 100%. Every well is different. We always give a customer the option to try it or not. Some well just can not be fixed. I am sure that if we were at this location then this was told to any potential customer. It may appears that this customer has like 1 every year, no matter what we do or say, it is our fault. We firmly send this message to that customer, send a copy of the check you wrote to us, or invoice, and we will refund your money."

We're very pleased. It has been about 3 months since his work and there is only a very faint "well" smell left (most of which which may be related to the hot water heater). First of all, he came out the same day we called him and once we agreed to the work, he performed it within two days. I didn't feel he was trying to "upsell" us with the new pump and tank. We really did need new ones. The water pressure is fantastic and the submerged pump is very quiet. There was a lot of sediment at first (chemicals plus high pressure), but now the water runs clear and strong. I think his plumbing skills are adequate to get this sort of job done, but I wouldn't consider him a plumber. He's a little sloppy, but he's really nice, low pressure sales, and came through on his promises.
