Adam and Dave are beyond awesome! These guys work hard and maintain such a friendly, welcoming, and positive attitude. They get the job done and make sure you’re happy with the results. They make certain to clean up after themselves to a near perfection. Bob makes sure you know the plan before they begin and Tyrelle in the office keeps you posted on the schedule. All around awesome company and I would highly recommend!

The technicians at Kern Heating Cooling and Plumbing responded very quickly to our request for help. Our furnace was not functioning. We contacted several repair companies but they weren't interested. Based on Angie's list ratings I called Kern Heating. Unlike the others, Bob, and his technicians at Kern Heating, were not afraid to at least take a look at our vintage unit. They came. They looked. They evaluated. They fixed. Just that easy.
We are so pleased with Kern Heating! They were on time, professional, honest and fair. They repaired a vintage furnace that nobody else would approach. We are warm and very happy thanks to Kern Heating Cooling and Plumbing  of Delta Ohio. We recommend them highly.

I was thrilled to have an immediate response to my request. I was happy that there was no pressure to buy something I didn't need and they came in and performed the job under the original estimate. Adam was the installer and he was very courteous. When they knew that they couldn't come when originally planned, I received a phone call before the scheduled time. I was happy to have the service within the same day and under budget!! We will definately use Kern services again and I will recommend them to anyone that needs a helping hand!

Our furnace started to misfire and my family and I started to have headaches . It was already cold outside and getting colder. I needed the furnace to be serviced right away but did not want to go to a nationwide company instead I prefer to have all my home needs done by local companies this is why I turned to Kern's Heating and Plumbing.

No referrals, no references, I just went to the internet and Googled for furnaces in the Wauseon area and saw some local companies. There were reviews associated with these companies and after I read the internet reviews on these companies I decided to go with Kern's.

I called Kern's on 13-Nov-2013 around 1:30pm and the person who answered the phone was the owner. I explained my situation to him and he took the time to answer my questions and provided me with a reasonable solution and told me to stop using the furnace immediately. We arranged a time for a service call, that same day.

A service technician, Tyrell, arrived around 4pm and begun inspecting the old furnace and found that not only was it misfiring but the amount of Carbon Monoxide it was producing was a threat to my family. Tyrell then contacted the owner and explained the situation, that we needed a new furnace. After we negotiated a fair price: furnace, installation, and piping Tyrell said he can be back at my house first thing in the morning for the install. He then asked us what we were doing for heat and my reply was lots of extra clothing and blankets well this is where I think the above and beyond comes into the picture because Tyrell's response was that he will go back to the shop and pick up a couple of electric heaters then drop them off to us on his way home so we can have some heat for the night. Wow...all I could say was thank you.

Tyrell arrived at my house the next morning at 7:30am and begun the task of removing the old furnace and installing the new one. He worked from that morning till that evening 5:30pm to make sure we were up and running with the new furnace. I was more than satisfied by his service what comes to mind is one word; Quality...this is why I prefer local companies to nationwide...Quality.

Called company approximately 12:30 PM. Secretary too call and the owner, Robert, called back approximately 45 min later and arranged to come by between 4 and 5 PM. The technician, Kenny, called back at 4:45 PM and said he would be a little late. He arrived at 5:02. He was in uniform and professional and quickly evaluated the problem as a blown capacitor. He quickly changed it and we were up and running in less than 15 minutes. They take credit cards, checks or even cash. It was nice to find a local company who could do the work.

Everything went well. They did a good job for a fair price.

The gentlemen that came were very very nice. They didn't mind me asking them questions. They don't charge extra for going back to the shop and picking up extra parts. I've had to deal with that in the past with other companies. My experience with them has been good.

The price was reasonable. I would highly recommend them. They are very professional, do a very good job and they clean up after themselves. I am very satisfied with them. I have dealt with them for probable 9 or 10 years. I intend to use them in the future.
