Even before Mr. Dacks was finished, I could hear the improvement. His fee was so reasonable that I insisted on adding to it. Very professional!

Richard did an excellent job. He was prompt, professional and personable. Our piano hadn't been tuned in at least 10 years. He initially said he might have to visit twice (to tweak any possible slippage, since it had been so long), and we would have gladly paid him to come again, but after doing the job he decided a second visit wasn't necessary. We'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Mr. Dacks has been our piano tuner for years. Excellent service every time. Reasonable, honest, and excellent service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr. Dacks to anyone requiring an experienced and dependable piano tuner. In my opinion, Mr. Dacks is the BEST!

Richard is very nice and was available from a cancellation literally the day we called. But even without the cancellation, his time frame was in the next day or two. He did a wonderful job. Since it had been so long since our last tuning, Richard recommended our piano would need two sessions to get it tuned correctly- which was understandable and we accepted (doubling our cost)- but what a difference it made! We are very happy with the work he did and for his professionalism.

He called because he was going to be a little late. Was very pleasant and professional. He told me everything he was doing and reasons for doing it.

Professional, friendly, funny. He explained what may go wrong since the piano has been stored wrong and not tuned in many years. He was careful to not damage it. Had to come back a different day to make sure the strings didn't break but didn't ask for payment until the second session. Piano works wonderfully now! Always contacts us back right away and is on time for appointments. Very good at communicating. The original tuning sessions cost extra because it was in such bad shape but the last (maintenance) tune was $100.

He was very knowledgeable about my piano. He used his digital tuner (A=440) and did a thorough tuning. He told me upfront in our first telephone discussion a second tuning may be needed; due to the long amount of time that had passed since the last tuning. I enjoyed listening to the out-of-tune vibrations eliminated key by key and chord by chord.

It was a great experience. I highly recommend Mr. Dacks.

It always goes well. He is punctual and professional. I love listening to the tuning and waiting for the little flourish at the end when he is done.

Left message for service and Richard called that evening and scheduled the tuning for the next evening. We are not home in the daytime so he did accommodate my schedule. Gave a cost estimate and time estimate and was on schedule. Recommended tuning more frequently that we normally do.

Richard Dacks made a special trip, on short notice, on Christmas Eve to tune the piano for the next day's party. He was pleasant and professional and took time to explain his work. The piano sounded great for the party. Since this was the initial tuning for this piano, we arranged for Richard to return a few days later to finish the "fine" tuning and expect to schedule him every six months in the future.

He was a music teacher and now tunes pianos. Very good. He has flexible time schedule.
