Enjoyed working with this company and would recommend them. Also would use them again.
Also, they said that they would come right out for an emergent job that I needed done - the guys that were supposed to come and quot;had a flat tireand quot; but never called me. I was told they were heading over after work (about 5:30 p.m.). When I finally got the news that they weren't coming, it was 10:00 p.m. on the eve of my daughters' graduation party. Brian did come over the next morning and put in the countertops and did a good job.
During the countertop installation I told Brian that the water/ice maker was not working on my fridge - he said he would look at it and never did. A few months later, my daughter discovered that one of my brand new cabinets (installed prior to the floor) was water-logged. I shut off the water to the fridge and called Brian. He told me if I bought a water line, they would install it and build a new cabinet to replace the damaged one. I emailed Brian 12/12/2012 and never received a response. I called him last week and he sent out one of his employees who reattached the water line to the freezer. Brian later called me and said that the problem was with my refrigerator (it is 5 years old) and that he would supply the labor but not the cabinet. The line that was off of the refrigerator had to be put back on the fridge with pliers.
"Mastroianni Home Solutions was originally contracted to perform tile work only for her. After installation of the tile we were asked to hook up the existing waterline to the fridge. My Techs specifically pointed out to her that there was damage to the waterline where it had been poorly repaired in the past to deter her from using that line. We offered to install a new waterline at no charge if she purchased the $10.00 waterline. She stated that it was installed by her ex husband and that it has never leaked in the past and it would be just fine to reconnect the existing line. During the final walk through of the project the Tech re-stressed to her the waterline issue and stated again that if she purchased a new $10.00 waterline even in the future we would install this for her without charge. She chose to ignore the recommendation that a new line be installed therefore we feel we are not accountable for any damage caused by the faulty waterline. Obviously at the time of reinstall of the existing waterline there was no leak found and being that this was completed months ago and there is only minor water damage to the cabinet now shows that the faulty line began to leak or had a very slow leak and is clearly a homeowner maintenance issue. Even with this clearly being a homeowner maintenance issue I have offered to perform the work to repair the cabinet or install a new one, if needed, if she purchases the material or a new cabinet at no charge to her for labor to try and remedy the situation. As to the emergency situation regarding the counter tops being installed. Mastroianni Home Solutions was not contracted to perform this work initially, she had went with another company to have them installed and for some reason the other company did not complete the job so she called us at the last minute for help. I tried to have a tech come out and assist her with a same day installation the day she called but my tech did have unforeseeable car trouble and could not make it out. As she stated I personally came out on a Saturday, the morning of the party and installed the counter tops for her. I do not recall having another conversation regarding the waterline from the original conversation that my tech had with her during the tile installation and again at the final walk through. We pride ourselves as being a company that strives to be a helping hand for our customers and we work really hard to make sure are customers are completely satisfied with our workmanship. Are company was made and continues to grow on these key principals and the majority of our business is referral based."
