I am recently divorced and do not know a lot about lawnmowers. I had some major problems with mine. They came and picked it up and took it to their shop to determine what the issues were. After determining what was wrong, they called and had me come in to explain what was wrong, and what it would take to fix it. Because of the nature of the problem, they did not want to try and explain it to me over the phone. They were extremely honest with me, and the ladies in the service office could not have treated me better. I did not feel that they were trying to take advantage of my situation, which they could have easily done. The cost to repair the mower was more than it was worth, so I did not have them fix it, which they even recommended to me. They were more than fair in their pricing for the work that had to go into giving me the estimate. I would definitely use them again to service any lawn equipment that I will purchase in the future. They are a good, honest company.

Charlie the mechanic was on time and very pro-active during this house call. How many others still try to repair at your home? Before the appointment, the office staff was very helpful, especially they collected my reported symptoms and complied with my request to have Charlie bring a starter with him. No return visit was needed. Each visit is $65. He said visits are free for 12 months if mower had been bought from them. Charlie was extremely knowledgeable about my mower and other Cubs. The starter was covered under Cub warranty, and there was no labor charge beyond the basic visit cost for the oil filter and missing screws. Charlie was extremely customer-oriented even in 90+ heat. He gave comprehensive answers to numerous questions about my mower even though they were unrelated to the starter replacement. This was my first experience with the company, but by far my best with any such company in 23 years of mowing with Cubs. I will never go back to the previous company.
