MY WIFE AND I LOOKED FOR AN ALTERNATIVE HEAT SOURCE FOR OUR HOUSE. THROUGH OUR RESEARCH WE LOCATED DR. LEE'S STOVE AND SADDLE SHOP WHO CARRIED THE BIOMASS STOVE WE WERE LOOKING FOR. WE WANTED TO INSTALL THE WHOLE HOUSE MODEL THAT TIES INTO THE EXISTING DUCT SYSTEM BUT THE BASEMENT STAIR CONFIGURATION DID NOT ALLOW ENOUGH ROOM TO GET THAT UNIT INTO THE BASEMENT. WE THEN OPTED TO USE THE FIREPLACE INSERT. THE INSTALLATION TEAM HAD THE CHIMNEY FLU RELINED AND THE INSERT INSTALLED IN ABOUT TWO HOURS. WE NOW ENJOY A WARM HOUSE WITHOUT FEAR OF A HUGE GAS BILL. WE ANTICIPATE THAT WE WILL COVER THE COST OF THE UNIT THIS YEAR GIVEN THE EXPECTED INCREASES IN GAS. WE ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH OUR CORN STOVE.
