If I could give Watson's of Dayton a score of 0 stars I would at this point. I have shopped at Watson's over the years, and I continue to run into customer service issues. We first bought our pool there and the pool was was incorrectly manufactured, and it was a battle and to get them to agree even though it was obvious that the holes were punched on one side incorrectly as half of one bolt hole was completely open and when the wall went together it would not fully set in the track. STRIKE ONE. Now we ordered a Bull Frog spa that was already on order when we purchased at the end of April. We were told that COVID would not affect us receiving the spa so we went with that one instead of one that was already in stock. We continued to have to call for updates after a month and a half of no news and expecting to get a call for delivery, to find that due to COVID the spa still had not even started being manufactured. Which I have no issue with and understand that COVID is causing delays everywhere but to have to call to find out this info was my first issue, I should have been notified of the delay. We were then given a date of July for it to be completed the day after I still had heard nothing so I again called to find out it still not in production yet. We were again give another date, again no update from Watson took me calling again to find out it again is still not in production. All I asked for is a little customer service post the sale especially for something that cost as much as this spa. Watson assigned someone to keep me updated which started out well but then again nothing until I was told it would deliver on the following Wednesday. I was told I would get a call Monday to schedule, Tuesday at 4PM I finally called to find they just put us on a deliver list at a time that would not work for us. I told them that it had to be before 5PM which I was told it would be delivered by 4PM and they would have time to get it in and be gone before I need to leave which I agreed to. It is now Wednesday and at 5 till 4PM I called since I had heard nothing, to find that they were doing an install and then had another and would not be at our home until after 6PM which is still even after what we were originally told. With all of the issues getting this spa we were told we would be first on the deliver list the day it arrived.. Look that just appears to be another lie... Now I call back in to tell them it needs to be delivered the following morning which I am told they don't deliver spas on Thursdays. BUYER BEWARE... Watson like all company's has been affected by COVID which is not an issue the issue is instead of just being honest they continue to lie to a customer, and I am sure I am not the only one. Watson's should be ashamed of their poor customer support, and in ability to communicate with a customer that paid in full. DO NOT PAY IN FULL until you get your product from Watson's then maybe they will work better with you. ***UPDATE*** Sales manager Drew called to tell me they could not deliver and then told me he called me on Monday which again was a lie it was Friday. He began to argue the point (extremely rude poor customer service) so I spoke with my wife and we canceled our order. We will take our money elsewhere and that will be the last time I ever do business with Watson's and I will continue to tell everyone that I ever speak with about this.. I hope this make to look elsewhere for your products as well after reading.

Watson's sent out a technician who went into our backyard without informing us he had arrived. He moved some wires, then knocked on the door and declared it "fixed." We went to the yard with him and tried to explain that there was a short and it would sometimes work after fooling with the wires, but he refused to even listen. In fact, he was downright rude to the point where we had to ask him to please leave. The igniter did work at the time the technician was here, but when we went out to light it for dinner, it wasn't working. We called the service manager at Watson's who told us he would order new wires, as they had already frayed almost to the point of exposing the wires, but he would not order us a new igniter.

They made repairs on our spa and did a good job with it. So far we have no problems. They were knowledgeable and have customer service. They were also very capable and professional.

The manager told me we would just have to have someone come out and line the chimney. This is very expensive and they said we needed none of that or we would not have purchased the stove. We couldn't find anyone to line the chimney and I called back and told them since the stove wasn't installed properly they needed to come get it and refund our money. That manager I cant remember his name (I think he said his name was Adam) said fine. Then when I called back in to get it set up for pick up on 12/26/2014  I spoke to Andrew Hazenfield another manager who told me my arrangement was an in store credit. We argued for awhile and he agreed to pick up the stove and refund the money to the finance company, all but the installation fee around  170.00. When the guys came out to remove the stove (the same ones who installed it) they dealt with my daughter on the install and she was in her room sick when they came to take it out. She looked out her window and said they were the same guys. They were telling me the stove should have never been installed without a chimney liner because of being a single story the fireplace doesn't exhaust properly. When I informed them they were the ones who installed it and said everything was fine, they had nothing else to say. I received a bill from the finance company and when I phoned them to explain what was happening, Watson had never bothered to let them know they picked up the stove so I had it put in dispute. on January 9th I phoned Andrew again and he told me it was sent over on the 8th. The finance company says Watson is refusing to remove the professional installation fee. When they pulled the insert out of the fireplace they was a bunch of ash and soot all over the top, back, and bottom of the stove. This is what was blowing into the house and the smoke always was thick and choked you. The front bricks on the fireplace are burnt black.  We have incurred great expense for this wood burning stove that was not installed properly and almost killed us. We had beautiful, heavy glass doors on the front of the fireplace and a very old wood grate that was large, thick and heavy. You cant purchase these anymore. All of this was removed and thrown out because it could be used with the wood burning stove,  the glass front will cost about $400 or more to replace the grate cant be replaced but we bought a cheap one for 35.00. The cord of wood was $120.00, it had to be seasoned for over 6 mths according to watsons and this had been seasoned for almost a year. Our fireplace doesn't make the house warm, it only makes the familyroom warm and the rest of the house could so we don't use it. Now we have a cord of wood in the back yard that we bought over 80.00 worth of treated lumber to bill the stands to hold the cord of wood, we are out our glass doors, our grate and my daughter and I almost ended up in the ER or worse.  When you have people telling you have safe these stoves are and that you just install them and never have to worry, that is a lie. Im out all this money and to add insult to injury Watsons wants to pay for the professional install that they say doesn't even exist.
Response from WATSON'S OF DAYTON
"The claim that we installed this unit faulty is not accurate. What (member name removed) does not mention is that she and her daughter were told by her salesperson, which has 35 + years of experience in wood stoves, that there is a burn off period with a new stove. They were told that they should open a window or door for the initial burn which they did not do. The burn off can take a few hours depending on the stove. This was the cause of the odor and the illness stated. As far as the installer, what he is trained to do is check to make sure that the damper is removed and that there are no obstructions in the interior firebox which he did. Anything else in the chimney is the customer's responsibility. If there is a drafting issue, crack, or obstruction with the chimney, then it is the customer's responsibility to repair, clean or install a liner kit to help achieve the proper construction needed. I am confused as to why I received this complaint because after talking with (member name removed) personally, she agreed to the return. I am willing to refund the $150 + tax but that is as far as we can go."

We purchased a 24' above ground pool. The only thing that went smoothly was the sale. We decided to get the "lazy man's package" to save the hassle of start up. Well it turnabout the "lazy man" was the installer. The fittings were leaking. It took four calls & still waited two weeks for a service. The chemicals were not added so we had to purchase additional chemicals & make 4 trips back for water analysis. Yikes.

Had pool installed 6 years ago, when they installed the pool the liner was pulled away from the skimmer, we immediately called and complained that it would eventually rip out under that area. They said they would put it in the system and if we had a issues they would fix it free of charge. Well 6 years later it ripped out as suspected and they will do nothing but make excuses and blame it on us, winter , and anything else they could think of. We we bought the pool they tried a bait and switch also. We decided on a pool, made a deal and then all of a sudden they don't have that pool in stock and tried to put us in a cheaper, much cheaper looking pool for the same price, no dice
