The Total Home Pros team showed up as scheduled and began the work we requested. We have been serviced by this company for approximately 3 years and are always so glad to see them when we have a need to call them to come out. They are personable, engaging to the proper extent and knowledgeable in the work to be accomplished. They get it done! Here is a partial of the email I sent to their office after they worked at our office today. "Once again, your team - this time Joel and Danny as we always appreciate the talents of Todd as well – arrived and provided excellent service for our Support team. The gutters (now guarded) look great, then they stepped in to remove and remount a couple boards and efficiently and quickly replaced a lap drawer to the desk where the boards were mounted, as well as the various additional items we requested. Thank you Total Home Pros LLC for your service. Their attitude and willingness to serve and provide the service as we requested is REFRESHING AND APPRECIATED.

Bert (owner) quoted the work and the pricing was extraordinarily good. That should have been the primary warning sign. They sent skilled and unskilled labor to start the job as agreed, The field labor generally played their role well in the early stages. As the job progressed it became clear that Total Home Pros didn't really have access to all the trades necessary to do their quoted tasks. They leaned on the 1 skilled laborer assigned too heavily and that person got frustrated with the work. He refused to do some tasks quoted which we contracted with other subcontractors. He had to be coaxed back to complete some 1/4 done work phases. Then, Total Home Pro's (THP's) left the field with drywall work that hadn't been finished (plumbing caps exposed, unsanded drywall while quote said drywall would be "paint ready"), with plumbing work partially done (old plumbing disconnected and reconfigured but new sink not plumbed to water supply or drainage) and carpentry partially complete (kitchen cabinets raised in elevation with unfinished lumber just painted white but not finished to cabinet quality). Nearest we could tell, the invoice about matched the hours they spent at a reasonable rate/hour of labor but we will have to general contract the completion of most facets of their work. Contractors may not relish doing the difficult finish work left by THP's. THP's position is that their quote didn't include sanding walls , plumbing drains, finishing cabinetry, etc. Total Home Pros did refer an excellent electrician who finished many tasks quoted (and many others too) at night while moonlighting from a day job which has created project delays but we are thankful to have him. If you are looking for a contractor who quotes by the task (not hours incurred), will finish the portions of the task quoted that work for them, bill you a reasonable amount for their hours incurred and leave the field for you to finish the work, Total Home Pro's is your firm.

"I would like to the opportunity to respond to Mr. [Member Name Removed] review. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] hired our company to perform numerous small interior repairs and alterations in a newly purchased house. In addition to our company, she hired numerous other service providers scheduled to do interior work simultaneously including flooring, wallpaper removal and paint throughout the majority of the interior of the house. The scope of work had us performing work on every level of the house in conjunction with the other contractors in the house. As Mr. [Member Name Removed] indicated we bid a modest amount of $4,000 for our work and anticipated completion with 1 week. Due to chaos and confusion of the work environment our work was extended to beyond 2 weeks. On or about June 7, 2019 and after being about 3 weeks into a 1 week job, I met with Mrs. [Member Name Removed] to discuss the difficulties of having several other trades working on the house at the same time (customer scheduled) and we agreed to finish certain tasks and return once the kitchen cabinets were available for install (another 4 weeks or so). We set about finishing these tasks and confirmed in writing via text on Monday June 10, 2019. Pressure mounted on all involved which lead to confrontation between one of our lead techs and Mrs. [Member Name Removed]. I arrived at the house and sent the tech away to another job to diffuse the situation. I discussed with Mrs. [Member Name Removed] and offered to pull off the job completely free of charge for all work performed to date (over 2 weeks of work). This is when we settled upon the limited scope of work to complete with a couple days and date to return to finish. While working on this scope another confrontation arose and shortly thereafter a third confrontation arose at which time I met with Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] and presented an invoice for work performed to date and gave them the option to not pay or pay an amount they considered to be a fair amount. Unfortunately, we were not able to satisfy this customer due to a number of circumstances including confrontation on our side"
