Paschal came and listened to what I had in mind, measured the job and provided a detailed estimate.
Once I accepted, he picked up the linen closet door to use as the color match for the doors being replaced. Once the doors were prepped, he dropped them on-site on a Friday and began the job the next Monday. All was clean and neat when he left on Friday.
The first day he brought a "second" to assist in the prep work (e.g. taking down old hardware) and all the things one needs an extra hand to do. His second even rubbed _Old English_ into the scratches on doors which weren't replaced and painted the repair of the door jamb so it didn't show anything but "I'm fixed".
Before the first step through the door he laid down plastic on the floor and covered it with a drop cloth. The ceiling dry wall work was done inside a "booth" created with plastic and support poles. Clean up at the end was meticulous. I even offered to vacuum myself and Paschal would not leave it to me, such was his pride to complete the job.
I work from home and needed quiet for a teleconference one day. They planned that day so that the work could continue but I would not be disturbed!
This job completes my goal of making this house a finished home.
