Owned by sole proprietor with 8 associates. We provide "Peace of Mind" for our clients. We take excellent care of your pets while you are at work (dog walks), vacation, business trips or anytime that you need to be away from your home. No worrying about feeding, pottying or missing medications. We take care of dogs, cats, exotics, birds, caged critters. chickens, horses and more. Special Friends Pet Sitting Service, LLC is Bonded and Insured and registered in the State of Ohio. All pet sitters are also background checked and trained in Pet First Aid and CPR for dogs and cats. Billing is done via email. Payments taken are cash, check and Paypal, Venmo and Zelle.

Services we offer
- Pet sitting for all types of pets including pocket pets and birds and some farm animals. Cat sitting, dog walking, mid-day "potty breaks", play sessions for cats and/or dogs. - Obedience training and behavior modification for dog. - CPR and First Aid classes for cats and dogs. - Transportation to vet visits and grooming appointments. We also do house checks on homes without pet and offer plant watering service without pets.

This is the best company ever. We have 7 dogs and 6 cats, plus a fish tank. We never have to worry about our animals or our home when we are out of town. Alicia and her staff provide the best service ever. We have used them for several years and you can not go wrong having them watch your pets.

Caught the sitter red-handed on home surveillance just playing on her cell phone without even looking at or walking my dog. She was 2.5 hrs late to my requested time btw. I had a friend check in my dog following this, and when my friend took my dog out, she immediately pooped twice and urinated four times. After stewing for hours, I texted her (who is one of the managers in fact) and asked if she actually walked my dog. Flat out lied and made up all sorts of BS. My neighbor also confirmed that she never saw anyone ever walking my dog for the past 2 months I have been paying this unprofessional group. Do not hire them, they will literally sit in your house or in your driveway for 20 minutes without actually doing their job. Alicia is the owner, and I have previously seen how she actually backs up her staff when they don't do their job, so I haven't even bothered talking to this horrible person.

All went very well, cats were fed, letter pans were clean upon our return. Mail and trash cans were put where we had requested. House was tidy. They not only left us a daily written update about the cats, they also sent us pics of the cats during our vacation. Readily available via text for questions.

If your animals are like family, this is the place to trust with their care. I can't say enough about how wonderful this pet sitting service is! I had an emergency situation where I needed someone to come help with a family member's cat ASAP. Not living in the area, I was stressed out about who to call. What a relief to find Special Friends Pet Sitting Service. Alicia was incredibly responsive to my needs, and more importantly, to the needs of the cat. Knowing the dire situation, she started pet sitting the day we talked and went above and beyond to make the cat's environment a clean/safe place. No one had been able to find the cat. Alicia made it her mission to to not only do that, but also monitored the eating/litter box to make sure the cat was eating/eliminating properly. Emily was also wonderful and helped with pet sitting and mail. Very reasonably priced for all that these lovely ladies do. Great customer service!

Megan comes in mid afternoon to take care of my cats. She texts me how they are doing & it eases my mind. She plays with the cats & does everything else I've requested very well. She brings in my mail & newspaper also. She leaves a chart of everything she's to do & checks it off when job is finished. Special Friends makes a point that I am to let them know when I arrive home as scheduled. If I didn't, they would come out & make sure the cats are okay. I requested the services for 5 days.

Alicia and others at Special Friends were absolutely phenomenal with my cat!! From the very first meeting, I was at ease knowing Alicia & her team would be taking care of kitty while I was away. They were always accommodating with my last minute requests and provided updates/pics of kitty while I was away. Great people and great service! I highly recommend Special Friends Pet Sitting Service!!!

I was very pleased. My pets are my children, and it is hard to trust their care to someone else, especially my 15 year old cat who needs heart pills. Emily was wonderful and sent me text updates after each visit. I definitely plan to use them again.

They are professional and Alicia is knowledgeable about dogs and responsible. There is an advantage keeping dogs in their home setting. My husband and I have used Special Friends dog sitting service for years for our 1st dog “Jake” and our 2nd dog “Ellie”.

I felt like the person who walked our dog genuinely cared about our pet. Our daughter recently moved and our dog moved with her. If we did still have our dog, we would absolutely be calling on Special Friends. They would even arrange time for us when we called them for an unscheduled walk.

This is an excellent, well-run company that took great care of my dog and cat as well as my daughter's 2 cats while we were on vacation for a week. We came home to happy, healthy animals that were clearly well cared for. I will use them again and highly recommend them to anyone who needs pet sitting

The dogs enjoy their visits from Special Friends. They take the time to refill water bowls and give the dogs lots of loving. The dogs really love to see Special Friends!!!! Very trustworthy!!!

We use Special Friends for all our trips out of town. This time, we had to leave town for a family emergency that happened to occur on a holiday weekend, but Special Friends was happy to take care of us on very short notice. Special Friends is awesome, and I could not recommend ANY service provider more highly.

Megan does a great job taking care of my pets. I travel for work so use Special Friends on a regular basis. Megan always leaves a detailed report on how things went. It gives me real peace of mind to know my pets are so well taken care of when I'm away.

Can't say enough about how prepared and thorough the first meeting was. They remembered to ask so many things and left important information. They clearly outlined the services. They took time to meet my pets and get a real feel for my home. During my time away, I received updates and pictures. It just felt really good knowing that my pets were cared for and that someone was surveying my home daily. Peace of mind made my trip even better (I always fret a little, but not so much this time!). The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend this service to anyone and will definitely be using again! (Should have reached out to these folks years ago!)

Special Friends Pet Sitting Service LLC are fantastic. They've been around for about 17 years. She spends time with your pet. She doesn't just walk in, feed him and walk out. All the vets in town know her, so if you have something wrong with your pet while you're gone, she already knows all of them. She's a dog trainer and is really good. I'm real happy with her. Their price is reasonable. They're worth it because they spend time with your pet and I can trust them in my house. I'm really crazy about my dogs and they'll even call you to tell you how they're doing. They're very responsive. If you call them, they'll get on the phone. They're also great with punctuality. I know from her calling me what time they're in my house, so I know they're punctual. They're real great and very professional. The first time she came in, she brought some informational hand-outs and gave me informational on her business and her credentials and all that. They've been really good to me and to my pets.
