Phoned the company to schedule the body work after having the insurance company assessment. i was told i would need to bring the car in and have it photographed and new paperwork done before I could schedule the actual work. When I arrived as arranged on a Saturday, i was then informed that the person who would need to process the work was not in and so we could not close the paperwork. However, we did agree to go ahead and schedule the repair and we would cover the necessary forms when I dropped the car off. On the planned drop off date all went well and the were no issues with leaving the car. On the planned pick up date, the car was ready and the exterior work met my expectations. However, there were several issues that did come up as i prepared to leave the shop. 1) Apparently while working, the team needed to open the hood of the car. However, they failed to actually close and latch it when done. This was obvious as the 'hatch alarm' went off when I started the car to leave. Since it was parked outside the shop this means it was driven with the hood unlatched - even if only a few tens of yards. 2) There was a fair amount of overspray 'dust' on the interior. This was easily cleaned by me when i washed the car. The final overall cast was actually less than the initial estimate but that was part of the insurance company processing.
