They put up the wrong color and style of siding. The argued with my wife and told her that it looked better. The owner called me and accused me of stealing siding. This situation is f***ed up. The guy was a friend of my brother. My brother had to play mediator between the owner and my wife. She told him what she wanted and he kept telling her that what they did looked better. They put the gutters on and they were the wrong color. He sent someone out to paint the gutters. The owner called me when the project was over and asked where the siding that I "stole" was. I had to tell him that his son was sick one day and one of his other guys came and picked it up. He said "oh". I kept asking the son where my final invoice was. He kept sending me an invoice that said estimate. The guys that did the siding and roof did a great job. The son lied to me constantly. He said they had to put the siding up because our house was exposed. My wife went outside and told him to pull a piece of siding off. We still had our wood siding under the regular siding. My wife called him a liar and said that she wasn't going to work with him anymore.

I used this roofer after the 2009 hurricane.  They did a poor job surveying the work that needed to be done.  This resulted in an additional $4000 bill after the roof was removed and there was no choice but to proceed, thankfully my insurance company covered the work.  The work took longer than expected to accomplish and the workers spent half their time working on their personal truck instead of the roof.  The clean up following the roof removal was substandard with many nails and pieces of shingles left over.  Shortly after the new roof was installed I found a leak around the drain vent stack.  It took a while for them to come out and fix the leak resulting in the need for me to repair a part of the ceiling.  Two years later  another leak pops up around the roof vents.  It took over 2 months to actually contact the roofer the first time.  It then took almost another 4 months to get the roofer out to fix the leak (which was covered under the guarantee.  It took another 2+ months to contact the roofer to determine that the roof had been fixed.  The ceiling needs to be repaired again.  Time will tell if the fix worked or if there are any further problems.
If you are looking to use this roofer, save yourself the hassle.... put your hose in the attic and turn it on, bust holes in the roof with a hammer and call a bank and ask to be put on hold.  Your frustration level will be far lower.  I would never use this contractor again and if you are smart you wont either.

I had questions but the men didn't speak English. We asked Mr. Fillinger to come see our roof because it has lumps. This was a complete tear off so it can't be from a layer underneath. Mr. Fillinger said he'd be out to check our roof but never showed up & never called. Our phone calls are being ignored. Yes our guarantee is over. It was for 5 years. Our problem is that this roof was never done correctly to begin with. We've had nothing but aggravation. Please don't ever use Roofmaster Cozy Co. I would hate to see anyone go through what we've gone through.
