The adjuster said they could probably save the house. They explained to me that they would review my policy and give me a certified review. The total loss was on the content on my house. The adjuster said they needed 15% of the building loss, contents loss, actual loss cash value. They were supposed to be here when the insurance adjuster was going to be here. I have a hotel bill of $1200 and this was supposed to be covered. I paid the first time and they never reimbursed me. They said the check was in the mail as of June 9th and I haven't received anything yet. I called my insurance and they told me they cannot do anything for me because I hired a public adjuster. I terminated the guy and tried to call him and never got in touch with me. It's been almost 2 months and the guy hasn't found a contractor. No decision has been made, no contractor has been contacted. The adjuster has not contacted anyone, such as the contractor, the insurance company, the hotel. I get a letter from his lawyer after I mailed him the termination letter telling me I have a contract with him and I still have to pay him. He has never sent me a bill after I asked him to send it and I would pay him what I owe him. He received my insurance policy and I still have not seen my policy even after asking him to show it to me. He needs to review my policy with me, he needs to find another contractor. I had a bunch of artwork and they told me I had to find out how much the worth was when their ad says they do value and cost appraisal. He contacted me my insurance company and told them he is still representing me but he has not contacted me since July 6th.
