It's good. They were professional. They have good hours if you want to go shopping. I give them all A's.

The Pet Suites are very expensive, but I had a coupon for 1 free night, so I decided to give them a try. So, the $68 was for the price of one night plus one gourmet treat for each dog.
They stayed in a "townhouse" suite, which includes 3 potty breaks and the choice of 1 group play, individual play or cuddle time. I chose for them to have cuddle time.
The problem is my cocker spaniel, Buster, was soaked to the skin when I picked them up at noon on the 3rd. Their excuse was that he got wet during his cuddle time!!!! When I dropped them off I didn't know if I would be picking them up on Friday or Saturday, so I called at 11:30 to let them know that I was coming to get them.
Yes it was raining that morning. All the more reason to do his cuddle time inside. For that matter, since he was only supposed to get 1 cuddle time per day and it was raining, why do his 1 cuddle time in the morning?
No, I did not request an exit bath, but that is no excuse for my dog to be soaked when I picked him up. After they noticed how displeased that I was, they did offer to dry him, but by then it was too little too late. I had had a long 2 days traveling for work, I wasn't going to wait while they dried him, he shouldn't have been soaked when I got there to pick him up.
I imagine someone from the PetSuites will respond to this review defending themselves with excuses as to why they didn't do anything wrong, because that 's what companies do. But he shouldn't have gotten soaked during a cuddle time.
Now, unfortunately, I have to find a new kennel to take my kids to when I have to travel for work again in 2 weeks.
That's right, not going back to PetSuites.

When we picked up our dogs after a few days of boarding the oldest one's face had swollen to double it's normal size. I called Pet Suites and they claim to have not noticed. Her eye was swollen shut so I cannot believe they didn't notice. She had an infected tooth which would have happened whether she was there or not but they should have notice. My call to the manager was never returned.
Response from Pet Suites Pet Resort & Spa
"We appreciate [member name removed] comments regarding his experience. It took me some time to respond to the review as a close examination of our records showed no stays for the [member name removed] family in 2012. In fact, our records indicate that his two dogs, Maris and Cameron, actually boarded with us for the last time in December 2011. At that time, the dogs were checked in around 3PM on 12/13, and checked out the next day. Shortly following his departure, [member name removed] did call to indicate that Cameron's face appeared swollen and to inquire as to whether we had noticed. We admitted that we had not noticed, and he indicated he was going to administer Benedryl to see if that would correct the issue. Our records further indicate that our manager, Shannon, actually reached out to [member name removed] on 12/16/11 to initiate a well check for Cameron. This is our protocol when a client calls to voice a concern, as we believe in a management style that is proactive. It was at that time that we learned that Cameron had undergone surgery that very day (12/16/11) to remove the abscessed tooth. I apologize that we missed the initial swelling of Cameron's face. We certainly would not want any pet to experience pain/discomfort during his/her stay. In fact, unlike many pet resorts, our staff is divided into two separate groups - a customer service group that focuses on our two legged clients, and a pet care service group whose only job is to focus on the needs of the pets in our care. We feel this model is very successful in providing an atmosphere of increased vigilance and expedited responsiveness. In instances where an anomaly with a pet is noticed, a special form is completed for the pet and our management team then assumes care for the pet to ensure the issue is resolved and the client notified when appropriate. In this instance, I have no excuse for how we missed Cameron's face swelling, but I would offer my sincerest apology that we did."

The place is clean and they take your dog out as many times as you paid for. But our dog came home with kennel cough. It is convenient place for maybe for one night boarding, but for longer time I prefer place that has big property where animals can run and roam around like Wags INN

My dog, Molly, had a great time. She stayed in a roomy kennel with a cushy bed from Friday morning till Monday evening. If you retrieve your pet before noon on Monday you aren't charged for an extra day. We got delayed and couldn't get her till later so it was four days at 27.50 per day. Molly had stayed twice in the summer of 2012 so she had already been evaluated and found ok for group playtime with other dogs.
I purchased a playtime package for three of her days. It was 15.00 per day for a total of 45 dollars. She was given 2 - 90 minute group playtimes, choice of a bone treat or frosty treat and an extra potty break each of the days. I also paid 3.00 extra per day so she could have an extra treat. She got both the bone and frosty treat each day. Part of the group play time included a play pool with water so she could get wet if she so desired.
Its almost like sending your pet to a child care environment complete with playtimes, rest times etc. You can customize your accommodations as well as what playtime your pet gets. Molly's first stay we didn't do group play and I paid for her to have individual cuddle time with a staff member. The cat section even has fish and windows for the feline boarder to watch.
I cant say enough good about this place. It may seem pricey but for a short stay it wasn't too bad and I felt so much better about leaving her with these folks. All the staff seemed warm and loving and Molly leaves happy and looking good. You can take some of your pets favorite things for them as well. If you forget you can also purchase some toys there.
They have grooming services also....I don't use that because I have a groomer elsewhere I use.
This place is very clean. The staff very friendly and caring.
They do require current vaccinations including Bordetella. My vet wasn't going to routinely give Molly the Bordetella. I had to request it specifically so she would be able to go to Pet Suites. So if you are considering boarding your dog and have your yearly checkup you might want to get the Bordetella. It cost $30 for the Bordetella Vaccine.
This place is just so much nicer than boarding at a veterinary clinic or even one of the older style kennels. Molly is crate trained but now at 2.5 years she only goes in it on rare occasions. I didn't want to have her in a kennel cage for 4 days with only a kennel run to exercise and potty in. Plus the interaction with other dogs is a great feature. Molly only has my husband and I and our ragdog cat to be around....plus grandchildren that visit. I like that she can get a chance to interact with other dogs and play.
Last summer she hung out with another goldendoodle during playtime. That alone makes this place worth a little extra $.

The dogs get excited when I take them there. They also provide grooming services. Their price is not cheap. If I call and make a reservation, it's ready and all set to go when I arrive.

I have nothing but praise for them. She usually gets her own private room while we are gone because she doesn't play well with friends. She has a television that is all tuned to the pet channel and she has her own little fountain in there and they take her out for playtime and they do a wonderful job there and the prices are proportionate. It is very clean, well kept, and the owner make sure that they are all animal oriented people and they treat the pets like their own. We did get a phone call once on our extended stay when we were out of town and apparently our dog growled and snapped at one of the handlers and they called and let us know but they just changed handlers and everything was fine. She settled down for the next day and they know how to handle dogs that get frustrated just like people get frustrated. The price was probably a little more than average but it is worth it because they do a much better job than average. They have been great and I wouldn't take our dog anywhere else. They are very professional.
