The socket was replaced. However when I asked the tech to look at another socket that was not working, he didn't fix the issue he found. When I called them back to fix the socket and to do a repair on my circuit breaker box, the dispatcher took my info and they never called back.

Ohio Electric has done a wonderful job with servicing our electrical needs since moving into our new home.  With all the problems we've encountered from the move alone, they have made the chaos of moving bearable.  Art has been wonderful to work with and has made my life so much easier.  He is professional and knows how to get the job done.  He takes the time to explain what needs to be done, why it needs to be done and what needs to be done in order  to make the repair.
What I like the most, is the willingness of this company to work with me.  They have always gone out of their way to schedule an appointment for me ASAP.  Customers are a priority to them.

Art, the electrician who has done other electrical work for us, had the whole house surge protector installed in the electrical panel in the basement in less than 30 minutes. 
As mentioned above, the bill was over $100.00 under the estimate. 

Upon removing the existing lights, they found a code violation where there were no electrical boxes in the wall for mounting the lamps.  The existing lamps were just screwed into the underlying plywood!  It makes you wonder how the rough-in inspection was ever signed off when the house was built in 1998.  The electrician brought this problem to our attention, outlined the solution, procured the boxes, installed them and finished the installation.

End result:  installation completed within two hours, code violation corrected, only $15 over estimate due to buying and installing the required electrical boxes.  This is the kind of service we expect from a contractor.

FYI -- Ohio Electric is one of the few vendors we've encountered who uses a flat hourly rate for residential work when you have some miscellaneous items to be done.  Each time, their estimated time and price have been on target.  They also clean up after themselves, are very respectful of the customers and do not try to "up sell" you once they are on site.
