Oakwood Cleaning Service

We moved here four years ago.  We live in a big, old house, emphasis on big.  When we first moved here we engaged the services of a young woman who was trying to start her own business.  And then the economy tanked.  She gave up the business and returned to school.  She continued to work for us as her only client through her studies and into the beginning of her new professional career.  We were proud of her accomplishments and pleased that we remained her only client.  Ultimately, she had to give us up when her professional commitments began to take all of her time.  It was then that we contacted Oakwood Cleaning Service (OCS).
Our previous house cleaner was a hard act to follow.  A friend recommended OCS.  Our expectations for OCS were very high, especially because of our great relationship with our former person, now fully trained and succeeding in a new profession.
The initial meetings went well.  We agreed on a mutually convenient schedule and a sensible range of services at a reasonable price.
The crews of two or three who come regularly are proficient, efficient and professional.  The owner/manager is here whenever a new crewmember is introduced.  She has substituted herself on a few occasions when it has been necessary.  She was very apologetic during one emergency in which she had to bring along her toddler grandaughter.  Our dog is very gentle and of a very nice size.  He was delighted with the company she provided and she seemed to relish the attention.  He says she is welcome to return anytime.
In summary, the professional services are consistently excellent.  The client relationships are appropriate but also easy and relaxed.  I am absolutely sure that we were one of the very few clients who have gotten a visit from the grandaughter.  It speaks volumes that we get top-flight professional services in a comfortable and easy-going business relationship.  We still miss the person we first had when we came here.  We must emphasize that we are totally satisfied with this new relationship and expect it to continue for a long time.

I got the info online yesterday and called.  Mika was very friendly and accomodating.  She and her team came out today and did a great job in a short period of time.  I definitely plan to use them again!!

Love this company!  The owner, Myka, is fantastic and committed to providing excellent cleaning services for her clients.  Her team has been cleaning my house every other week for a couple of months and there have been no issues whatsoever.  Myka has worked with me on the best schedule and we are working to figure out a rotation process that will keep me on budget (the house is large and we can't clean everything every time within budget, which is completely understandable).  The team is always prompt and the house always is great when I get home.  I would highly recommend Oakwood Cleaning Service to anyone who needs cleaning services!

Oakwood Cleaning Service has been taking care of my home for over three years. They are prompt, courteous, efficient and flexible. I feel like they care for my house like it is their own. There has never been anything damaged or misplaced, and they are careful about the products they use in my home. I appreciate their reliability and care, as well as the long-term, trustworthy employees that Mika attracts.

The owner came to my apartment and met with me. We discussed what cleaning I was expecting to have done. She presented the exhaustive list of services to be performed. We set the date of beginning and the frequency of cleaning times. We discussed the cost of the service and agreed on the price. I gave her the keys to my apartment. It has been a great service.

They do a nice job; I never know what time they'll be here, I call the day before to find out, and the time is an estimate

They have always arrived on time and have been very communicative via phone and email. The came on schedule to give an estimate for both a deep cleaning and regular scheduled cleaning. We had used other cleaners before so knew generally what to expect. Their price is much better than other places we've used and they do a really good job, especially with keeping us informed of what's going on and keeping to our requests.

Nice local company with excellent service and staff that is consistent.  

Two to three ladies come over each visit and work together to get all the cleaning done. We have them dust, vacuum, mop floors, wipe down appliances and counters, and clean 1 full and one half bathroom. They don't do the windows, laundry, dishes, clean the oven or inside of the frig, or change bedding, although I'm sure they would if these were things we didn't take care of ourselves. There are plenty of other things they do that I didn't list here. Mika provides a list of things they take care of when she arrives to give an estimate.

Mika's goal is to send the same crew to your home consistently. We've had several different ladies come, but that isn't an issue for us. Punctuality also isn't a problem. When I'm traveling for work they can come any time on their scheduled day.  When I'm not traveling I typically work from home, so anytime that day is also fine.

They supply all cleaning supplies except paper towels. If you have something special you'd prefer they use, then you supply that. They use our vacuums, which is fine with us. 

They are in and out of our house in roughly 30 minutes. They have been here several times when no one was home and I feel completely comfortable with that. Mika hires people she knows and will personally vouch for. They all seem to get along pretty well, so there's no drama when they are here.

My husband and I are ridiculously clean and picky people. As an example, we recently stayed at the Broadmoor hotel, one the nicest resorts in Colorado (in our opinion). We gave the manager recommendations for things that needed attention that caught our eye during our stay. He called us back and told us he personally checked and the things we mentioned DID need a good cleaning! Anyway, on a scale of 1-10 I give Oakwood Cleaning an 8-9, which is high praise. Plus you can't put a price on having people be in your home that you can trust and not have to worry about.

Give them a try. I think you'll be pleased with the service. 

They come every other week. We have not signed a contract with them. They come until we say to stop. We pay each time. 4 people come to clean. I am not sure how long they stay. They are very efficient. They are reliable. If there is any complaint it is received courteously and immediately the owner does something about it. She comes out herself to check that whatever was not satisfactory is now satisfactory. I have had to call a couple of times when I have not been quite satisfied.
