NEAL'S LANDSCAPING IRRIGATION

Rick Neal came out and measured the front yard for an irrigation system early in the spring, explaining what he would do. He had been recommended by the man who cuts the lawn in the summertime. Another of his customer's had used Neal's successfully. The BBB gave the company a good rating.  His price was about half what another company had estimated and less than half what a third company has suggested it would cost. So, it was a good price. 
When the installation was completed, it seemed that the row of heads by the curb were not covering the area well. Rich was not interested in coming out to see what could be done. Then when I tried to turn on a separate spigot near the house, the whole system shot up water into the air. I had to turn off the water at the spigot and in the basement. Rick came out to repair this. But a few weeks later the same thing happened and he dispatched his son out to try his hand at repairing it. This repair seemed to last well.
Rick's phone is never answered by anyone. It requires that a message be left with the promise that he will call back. Don't count on a return call if he doesn't wish to do the requested job. He doesn't make appointments and appear when promised either. He just appears some afternoon. He came out in the fall of 2011 to turn off the water and drain the system for winter after two phone calls.
In 2012, I wanted to have Rick adjust the heads by the front curb and left two messages in the spring for him. I didn't ever hear from him
To sum up my experience with this landscaping and irrigation company, the price is excellent, the service poor.
