Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Dayton

Hired to install new propane water heater. Instead they installed a natural gas water heater. The pilot kept going out so we called them and they came out and showed us how to light it. This continued to happen then we noticed black soot on top of the water heater also. After several days of calling they came out and said they had no idea where that was coming from. Said they had never seen it before. A couple days later we needed a new furnace and air conditioner installed. When that company came out to do it they noticed there is a plate on the water heater that says it is for natural gas only! They immediately shut it down and told us this is a fire or explosion hazard!! I called mr. Rooter Plumbing and ask to speak to a supervisor or manager. I was told they would contact him and have him call me back twice. Instead they sent another technician out to confirm that it was in fact the wrong product they installed. Finally the next day they sent someone out to install the correct propane water heater. This was not only terrible service but we lived in our house for one month with a fire and explosion hazard in our basement because of them! This company has major issues keeping employees so please do not use them and put yourself and your lives in their hands.

Had tree roots removed from sewer line. They used a high pressure snake and camera. Mr. Rooter had to come out twice to completely clear the sewer line. The second time a supervisor came out to assist the original technician. They worked very hard to get the line cleared. It has been several months now and the sewer line is clear and running freely. It is nice that they are open 7 days per week, and don't charge extra for weekends. Work completed in 2/26/17 and 3/15/17.
