LITTLE FLOOR REFINISHING

The company did an excellent job refinishing my hardwood floors.  They look like new.  Great job.

Underneath four generations of carpeting in my 1956 rancher were oak floors. At some point, someone had decided to countersink 2-3and quot; screws into several sections of the floor to try and stop some squeaking. There were a couple of pet stains and endless, ENDLESS carpet tacks, staples, nicks and gouges. It appeared like a hopeless restoration. But the Little brothers were unfazed. If I would take out all the screws, tacks and staples and putty in the holes properly (they explained how), they promised an excellent restoration.
For six days the brothers did their thing. Went over and corrected any work I missed; sanded the floor, applied a coat of stain and then three coats of polyurethane. The result is amazing. I am so happy to be forever done with carpeting. During our time together I learned the brothers have been doing this for nearly 30 years, so I have no trouble in defining them as craftsmen.
SIDE NOTE: I rented a POD to empty the house of furniture. With the floors done and the house empty, I decided to paint the entire interior. If I had to do it again, I would paint first and do the floors second. The thought of getting paint on the freshly redone floors was just nerve racking; but that's an individual choice.

The job took 6 days to complete, 3 days of sanding and 3 days of polyurethane coats. Their professional sanding equipment captures about 98% of the wood dust, and our cleanup will be easy.

Our floor is so beautiful after theydid them. They did our front hallway and our breakfast area and kitchen are all hardwood floor, so they sanded them and refinished them and they are gorgeous. It was worth every penny.

Kent and his brother Kurt are magicians! They did a beautiful job of undoing the damage done by previously hired and quot;handymenand quot; and restored the floors to their natural beauty. We had selected a golden oak stain but Kent, based on his years of experience, suggested going with a natural stain. We went with his suggestion and the natural red oak floors turned out better than our expectations. They also did a good job of cleaning up the area when the work was done.

Having them come back and do my kitchen since the living and dinning room turned out so well.

They did a great job. They have been doing this for about thirty years and are very solid. They have a good work ethic and I highly recommend them. The oak floors were damaged from about fourteen years use and seven children on it. It was way, way overdue to be refinished. It took four days because you can only do so much a day. Once the wood is refinished they have to put several coats on. You can only do one coat a day so that extended the time it took to complete it. They were recommended by a business associate who had used them and was very satisfied with their work. He said they were very professional and knew what they were doing. They were very conscious about doing a good job. It is a two man company. They are twin brothers who don't even have to talk to each other because they have been doing this for so long that they know who does what. They both have interesting personalities. They are straight up and don't give a bunch of marketing bologna. They were very helpful and honest. They are truthful in how they came across on anything you asked them about. They are the kind of people you recommend to your friends. The floors have held up and doing well. The floors are beautiful. I hope they are still around in a few more years when I have it refinished again. They were courteous and conscious about not leaving a mess behind. They were trustworthy. I would have no problem in leaving them in the house. I trust them completely. They work hard and do a great job.
