Larkin Electric Co LLC

It was sort of a long panel of lights, so my husband didn't know about fixing the electrical. I would just give them an A for everything. Yes, we would use them again. The amount of time they did it and the fixed everything. They sent us a bill later. I think that was the best part.

I called Larkin Electric on Sunday at abt 5:40PM. Two of my kitchen outlets had stopped working and I was concerned that the refrigerator would also shut off.
Tim Ashley (Residential Services for Larkin) called back two hours later on Sunday night. He offered to come out immediately or on Monday morning. We agreed on Monday morning.
Tim called Monday AM when he was 20 minutes away. 
I gave Tim a list of my concerns when he arrived. He started on the most serious issue first - running  a new ciircuit for the refrigerator. The attic access for the new wiring is horrible. It involves a small passage to the house' addition and crawling to 
a spot above the panel. Tim had to go into this space several times with very good humor.
Tim explained everything he was doing and showed me where and why some of the outlets were failing.
After several hours work and new wiring and outlets the bill only came to 200!
We have scheduled an appointment for May. Two electricians will be checking all of the outlets in the house and replacing any that are questionable. Tim did an estimate based on the number of outlets, whether furniture will have to be moved, and the total number of hours for two men. The estimate is very reasonable for the amount of work to be done.
I have used Larkin Electric several times over the years, I know I will continue to use them in the future.

I was very pleased with Larkin Electric, from the initial conversation on services and charges, as well as a call to me to alert me that the service men were delayed due to a previous service call.  The men were polite, helpful in advising me on installation decisions and did an excellent job for me.  I would definitely contact them again for work.

They are the greatest.  What ever they fix, is fixed the first time, no matter what it is.  I have been using him since the 1970s.  They never let you down.  When you receive their caliber of service, you don’t mind paying for it.

We have paid for probably half of it, but the work is not yet completed. We have spent probably about $1000 for the work that is completed. We like everything about them. They are prompt, professional and did what they were supposed to do. We are happy with their service. We would definitely use their services in the future too.

Did an excellent job in working with old electric in an old house. We had two new switches with dimmer slides installed, and an updated lighting fixture changed out. Worked with thick, cement walls, older wiring, things that might stump others. Did a good job and it looks great. There was some problems with scheduling, and missed appointments, but ultimately I'd hire them again.

This company did a fine job and showed up on time. I will use this company in the future.

Larkin has done several small jobs for us, always prompt, very approachable, work is done quickly and neatly and for a fair price. Would highly recommend

The service provided was excellent. When I called to make an appointment, the person who schedules residential calls called me back almost immediately because I told them I was traveling that day and would be on a plane in about an hour. When the electrician came to our house, he arrived when he said he would. Our problem turned out to be a fairly simple fix (just a hidden GFI switch that needed to be "switched"), they only charged us for the service call. He also took a look in our garage. When we bought our house, the inspector told us the electric wasn't "up to code." That turned out to be a very simple fix, too - we just need to add some 20-cent caps/covers on some 'exposed' wires. He told us we could very easily do that ourselves. Larkin Electric was extremely prompt, helpful and professional! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Excellent work. Contractor did not come the day that was stated. I called and the electrician came the next day promptly. Contractor stated that the prior job ran overtime. However, I left work early to make the appointment and no one called me to advise that the contractor was not coming. Otherwise, the workmanship was excellent, the price was fair, and the contractor did apologize for the missed appointment, and he came promptly on Saturday morning.

Company responded promptly to schedule an appointment time. Two electricians came, completing the job promptly and well.

Very well. Tim provided an estimate over the phone based on my description of the work. We scheduled the work for later the same week, and Matt and Tim arrived promptly on the scheduled day at the scheduled time. They were knowledgeable and professional, completing the work in about an hour even though they encountered unanticipated pipes in the ceiling. They worked well as a team and left me with a much smaller hole to patch, and a much better installation than if I had attempted the work myself. It certainly took them much less time than I would have needed, but then, they are professionals and know what they are doing, not figuring it out as they go! And, they cleaned up when they were done. I would definitely use Larkin Electric the next time I have an electrical project. Best $125 I have spent in quite awhile.

Both the estimate guy and the guys who did the actual work, were very professional and answered all of our questions. When things had to change halfway through the job, they told us exactly why and got things done quickly. Good crew. I'd hire them again.

Everything was great. The response was very quick and a repairman came out the same day.

The men that came out were very professional and knew their stuff. It took them less time than I thought it would to complete everything and they were neat and courteous. Although I do not wish to show the price at this time, I feel it was right around the amount I thought it would be.

While in the attic, I noticed the exhaust fan was not working. I called Larkin and they found that the motor was bad. They installed a new one and checked/adjusted the settings on the thermostate.

THEY ARE WILLING TO GO OVERBOARD TO MAKE YOU HAPPY. THEY HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR AND THE ELECTRICIANS ARE ALWAYS POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. WE HAVE USED THEM FOR FIFTEEN YEARS WITH GREAT SUCCESS.

IF YOU NEED WORK DONE QUICKLY AND CORRECTLY, CALL LARKIN. THEY COME RIGHT OUT. IF THEY DON'T HAVE A PART THEY RUN AND GET ONE RIGHT AWAY. THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ACCOMMODATE YOU.
