Great.

The tree is doing great! It even survived our horrible winter.

I actually did not use the landscaping service but did purchase plants for my flowerbeds. The people at the garden center are very knowledgeable and helpful and offer great products at reasonable prices as well as the ability to earn "Bonus Bucks" to apply to later purchases. If I happen to be in the market for any further landscaping I would not hesitate to use Knollwood.

We actually contracted with Knollwood last year (2012) to have the work completed.  We gave them a down payment for the work to be completed by the end of May.  It got to be July and we had not heard from them.  We called and were told that they had so much work and they were running behind.  We did not want to wait until the Fall to have the work completed and asked if we could have it done this Spring for the same quoted price.  Knollwood agreed to this.  Again, it took several times trying to get a date for the work to be done but finally, on April 25th the crew came out and completed the work.  They took time to explain to me what I needed to do to keep the plants thriving.  So far, so good!  
I do love going to the showroom at Knollwood.  The staff is very knowledgeable and take the time to address all of my questions.  I never feel rushed.

They are a long-time, family-owned store with a huge selection and very friendly service.
The summer we planted the oak tree was very dry, and even though we watered the tree fairly
regularly it did not leaf out the following spring. We dug it out
(found it had a rather small root system) and took it back. They
replaced it for free.

I found exactly the flowers I was looking for and got great advice from the staff.

They are a well established garden store and landscaping company and I've always used them. They've been here forever.  It's a real nice garden store and I get my flowers from there in the spring.  I don't have big gardens and I'm not very knowledgeable, but they have good quality flowers.  They are knowledgeable and answer questions.  I actually used them for the first time last year in June and then I used them again in the fall.  I had some new plants and shrubs put in.  They mulched and did all that for me.  I tried to never have them do before and I was pleased.  I don't have any complaints with them.

From the moment we arrived at Knollwood, we were greeted by friendly and knowledgeable personnel. Cleve was extremely helpful in aiding us in finding plants that suit our needs and pleasantly answered every single question we could think of. He patiently led us around the nursery explaining the pros and cons of many types of plants all of which he had extensive knowledge. My experience with other employees has been just as amicable. It's obvious that Knollwood's staff is passionate about what they do (like forest rangers!) Being a new homeowner, I honestly don't know much about competitive pricing for plants, so I can't say much about that. The prices seemed fair and reasonable though. My only critique is that we bought a tree on about the 14th of October and we were assured that we would hear from the delivery folks within two weeks. Considering that we paid well to have them deliver and plant our tree, I would have expected a more punctual response: we did not hear from them for about three and a half weeks. However, they did do an excellent job getting it in the ground and left a clean worksite. We've had a wonderful experience with the Knollwood Garden Center and will definitely be back in the spring for more advice and, of course, plants!
