No complaints on the overall services offered, but in the end, we were advised to close a day before the $6,500 tax credit for home buyers took effect, essentially costing us $6,500 extra in taxes due, not to mention an ongoing difficult experience with the IRS. In retrospect I'm not sure why it was so important to close that day. It seems everyone was willing to wait except the realtors, who indicated that we "should" get the credit. The primary value in using real estate agents is "expert" advice. In the future I'll stick to using a real estate attorney for a fraction of the price and skip the services of realtors.
