"This is a very difficult review. Its not just. Really, a 0.5 out of 5. We discovered that Ms. N had been given a bad solution for ventilation issues in her home by installation of whirly bird vents when the real problem was that insulation was blocking the intakes at the soffits. We went into the attic and cleared the soffits and installed 32 baffles. We did everything we contracted to take care of and a lot more. We convinced the insurance to approve a complete roof. We fixed rot around her house on fascia boards and such that were not part of the roof project. We fixed misaligned gutters that were damaged before our roof project. We replaced the roof ventilation that we were required to tear-off to complete the roof. We fixed ceilings. Mrs. N signed off that she was happy with all work and she paid us in full. I offered to compensate for the minor damage to plants that sometimes can occur even with all precautions before tearing off a roof. She signed off on the painting of her ceiling she said she had to finish. We did use a roof trim metal that, at first, Mrs. N didn't like until she asked others opinions and decided to keep it- we offered to replace it the color of her choice. We bent over backwards to take care of the roof project and much more at a great price. Goes to show, "You can't please all the people all of the time"- though, in our opinion we exceeded all commitments and see that there were misunderstandings that we were told by Ms. N we had addressed. "Thanks for the kind words Rick, it was a pleasure doing business with you!"
"To all who might read this review: The customer was bothered by a very severe deformity and the end of the peak of their roof. It pitched up 3 feet starting 5 feet from the end to look like the bow of a boat. Other roofers, bid more than we told the customer nothing could be done. As the roof was being replaced, I personally, as a business owner went on the roof to investigate and found that a contractor who built the side gable peak of the house built in that severe deformity. I let the homeowner know that we would return the roof to a normal appearance and take out the deformity, but that would require a small siding crew coming in for a second day of work to remove all the siding on that side of the house, tear-out the erroneous build that led to the deformity. The homeowner agreed to have it done for an additional fee. The job turned out beautifully with no further deformity to the roof. When I went to inspect, the husband was unaware of the agreement his wife had made with us. She had hired us initially. We never change a price without prior approval for a change of work order and we were paid. I apologize to Mrs. and Mr. Vulgamore for any part I had in the misunderstanding. We were given the authorization to do the separate work on the second day which was totally separate from the original contract for roof replacement."
"Thank you, Ed! We are pleased to hear that you were satisfied with our work and we look forward to serving you in the future should any other issues arise."
"This review is bogus. Our company was sent the lead, but we never were able to get the customer on the phone. It is unfair to receive a review for someone who we never spoke to. John Moore, Sales Manager"
"Suspect the negative was due to the frustration management expressed when our previously reliable supplier told us they wouldn't be able to get the siding for 12 weeks instead of 4 and at twelve weeks, they said they never could get it related to Covid. Only due to extra efforts were we able to find the material and get the job done with excellent customer satisfaction with the completed job. John Moore, Owner"
