Tim Garrison is a wonderful person to work with. He is down to earth, honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. He discovered, somewhat by intuition, I think, an extra foot of empty wall space behind my shower that none of the other contractors from whom I got quotes discovered. (Thus, we were able not only to remodel our old, 1970s shower, but also to make it bigger!) He has as trustworthy a demeanor as any company owner or salesperson I have interacted with, and he proves that trustworthiness is genuine. He makes sure he gets a satisfied customer and keeps coming back without question to make sure the customer is happy. We had some problem with grout between tiles in a shower, and they kept coming back until they got the problem fixed (not sure what it was--maybe the grout mix was faulty or was mixed somewhat wrong, not sure). In addition, and this is a big plus for me after dealing with other companies, HE SAID THEY WOULD NOT GO OVER THE QUOTED PRICE, AND THEY DID NOT GO A PENNY OVER THE QUOTED PRICE. (Another company we used to remodel our kitchen kept adding to the price--sometimes due only to their own miscalculations or from not noticing that they would be cutting into the house's main support beam to install certain cabinets they wanted to install, etc. Sheesh! But Hometowne did not go over budget one bit.)







I would actually rate the quality of the work somewhere between GOOD and Excellent. The bathroom fan that was installed is noisy, but that is probably not the installer's fault. We have had trouble with our bath/shower faucet leaking, but that could be a and quot;lemonand quot; faucet (it is a very good brand) or the contracting plumber they use. In places, the drywall seams could have been smoother, but they did come back to sand and better that situation as well.







Overall a very, very good experience. Our friends had recommended them, and they also said they would go back to Hometowne after making the mistake of using another contractor to remodel their kitchen.

Although it has been over a year since the project was finished, my recollection was that the project took about 2 weeks to complete...they didnt work everyday as they were working on other projects in the area. And the job did require a few days for drying, etc. The workers were always professional, courteous and very careful not to disrupt the rest of the house. At the end of the project, I had them repaint a wall, that looked streaked to me and they gladly did that.

Overall, the job was overbudget but the workmen ran into more termite damage that had to be replaced before moving on. I was informed before the work was done. I was happy to pay extra for a job well done rather than be dissapointed in a half-a$$ job.

It was a positive experience. They did a very good job, they figured out the problem from the previous company and were able to fix it.

Tim is exceptional. He is very understanding, asks good questions and is very effective in tailoring the project to the customer's needs. He stuck with us even though we were quite indecisive at times. The effort went very well, however the project was stretched out over about 5 months due to weather issues, not the contractor.

THEY COULD NOT HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB. WE CAME ACROSS THIS COMPANY AT A HOME EXPO AND WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE IN THE DESIRED TIMEFRAME AND ESTIMATED PRICE. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ALWAYS SHOW UP HERE ON TIME. THE WORKERS WERE ALWAYS NICE AND COURTEOUS. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH ALL OF THE RESULTS.
